3. Package Contents

Your Owigift Carburetor Replacement package includes the following components:

4. Setup & Installation

Replacing a carburetor requires basic mechanical knowledge. If you are unsure about any step, it is recommended to consult a qualified technician. Always ensure the engine is cool and the spark plug wire is disconnected before beginning any work.

Required Tools (Not Included):

• Socket wrench set
• Screwdriver set
• Pliers
• Fuel line clamps (optional)

Installation Steps:

1. Safety First: Disconnect the spark plug wire to prevent accidental starting. Ensure the engine is cool.
2. Drain Fuel: If necessary, drain the fuel tank or clamp the fuel line to prevent spills.
3. Remove Air Filter Assembly: Carefully remove the existing air filter housing and air filter.
4. Disconnect Linkages and Fuel Line: Note the routing of all linkages (throttle, choke) and the fuel line connected to the old carburetor. Disconnect them.
5. Remove Old Carburetor: Unbolt the old carburetor from the engine manifold. Be mindful of any gaskets.
6. Clean Mounting Surface: Ensure the engine manifold mounting surface is clean and free of old gasket material.
7. Install New Gaskets: Place the new gaskets provided in the kit in their correct positions.
8. Mount New Carburetor: Carefully position the new carburetor and secure it with the bolts. Do not overtighten.
9. Reconnect Linkages and Fuel Line: Reattach all linkages and the fuel line to the new carburetor, ensuring they operate freely.
10. Install New Air Filter and Housing: Replace the air filter with the new one provided and reassemble the air filter housing.
11. Reconnect Spark Plug: Reconnect the spark plug wire.
12. Refuel and Test: Add fresh fuel to the tank and attempt to start the engine. Check for leaks and proper operation.

• Spark Plug: Replace the spark plug periodically (a new one is included). A worn spark plug can affect ignition and overall engine efficiency.
• Fuel System Cleaning: If the equipment is stored for extended periods, it is advisable to drain the fuel system or run the engine until it runs out of fuel to prevent gum and varnish buildup in the carburetor.
