3. Setup
3.1 Initial Charging
Before first use, fully charge the internal 5000mAh lithium-ion battery using the provided USB-C cable. Connect the cable to a standard USB power adapter (not included) or a computer USB port. The charging indicator light will illuminate during charging and change color or turn off when fully charged. A full charge typically takes approximately 5 hours via USB.
3.2 Optional AAA Battery Installation
For extended backup power, you can install 3 AAA batteries (not included). Open the battery compartment cover on the side of the radio and insert the batteries, ensuring correct polarity. The radio will automatically switch to AAA battery power if the internal rechargeable battery is depleted.
3.3 Powering Options
The radio offers five ways to power the device:
- Internal 5000mAh Battery: The primary power source, rechargeable via USB-C, solar, or hand crank.
- USB-C Charging: Connect to a USB power source for fast charging.
- Solar Panel: Place the radio in direct sunlight to slowly charge the internal battery. This method is best for maintaining charge or for very slow charging.

4. Operating Instructions
4.1 Radio Operation (DAB+/DAB/FM)
- Power On/Off: Press the 'POWER' button to turn the radio on or off.
- Mode Selection: Press the 'MODE' button to switch between DAB, DAB+, and FM radio modes.
- Automatic Scan: In DAB/DAB+ mode, the radio will automatically scan for available stations upon first use. In FM mode, press and hold the 'SCAN' button to perform an automatic scan.
- Manual Tuning: Use the 'TUNE +' or 'TUNE -' buttons to manually adjust the frequency in FM mode or navigate through stations in DAB/DAB+ mode.

- Recall: Press the 'PRESET RECALL' button, then use 'TUNE +' or 'TUNE -' to select a saved preset, and press 'ENTER' to listen.
