This device is designed for accurate and reliable measurement of body temperature (forehead and ear), as well as object and ambient temperatures. 2. Safety Information
- This thermometer is intended for household use only. Consult a medical professional for health concerns.
- Do not use the device if the sensor or display is damaged.
- Keep the device out of reach of children. Small parts can be swallowed.
- Avoid extreme temperatures, direct sunlight, strong vibrations, and dust.
- The thermometer is not waterproof. Do not immerse it in water or other liquids.
- Allow the thermometer to acclimatize to room temperature for at least 30 minutes before use, especially after changing locations with significant temperature differences.

4. Setup
4.1. Battery Installation
- Open the battery compartment cover on the back of the device.
- Insert two AA batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+/-).
- Close the battery compartment cover securely.
4.2. Initial Settings
Upon first use or after battery replacement, the device may prompt for date and time settings. Follow the on-screen instructions using the 'SET' button to adjust values and 'MEM' to confirm.
5. Operating Instructions
5.1. Forehead Temperature Measurement
- Ensure the protective cap is removed.
- Press the power button to turn on the thermometer.
- Hold the thermometer with the sensor pointed at the center of the forehead, approximately 1-3 cm away.
- Press and hold the 'SCAN' button (usually the large green button).
- Slowly move the thermometer across the forehead from one temple to the other.
- Release the 'SCAN' button once the measurement is complete (indicated by a beep). The temperature will be displayed.

5.2. Ear Temperature Measurement
- Remove the protective cap from the sensor tip.
- Gently insert the sensor tip into the ear canal. For children, gently pull the earlobe back to straighten the ear canal.
- Press the 'SCAN' button. A short beep will indicate the start and end of the measurement.
- The temperature will be displayed on the screen.
5.3. Object and Ambient Temperature Measurement
- With the thermometer turned on, press the mode button (often indicated by an object icon or a small button near the ear/forehead mode selector) to switch to object/ambient mode.
- Point the sensor at the object or area you wish to measure.
- Press the 'SCAN' button. The temperature will be displayed.

5.4. Memory Function
The Medisana TM 750 automatically stores the last 30 measurement results. To access these, press the 'MEM' button when the device is on. Each press will cycle through previous readings, displaying the temperature, date, and time.
5.5. Visual Fever Alarm
The thermometer features a visual fever alarm. The display backlight changes color to indicate temperature status:
- Green: Normal temperature.
- Red: Elevated temperature (fever).

6. Maintenance and Cleaning
6.1. Cleaning the Thermometer
- Wipe the sensor tip gently with an alcohol swab or a cotton swab moistened with 70% isopropyl alcohol.
- Clean the body of the thermometer with a soft, dry cloth.
- Do not use abrasive cleaning agents or immerse the device in water.
6.2. Storage
- Store the thermometer in its protective pouch in a cool, dry place.
- Avoid direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
- Remove batteries if the device will not be used for an extended period.
