2. Selecting and Fitting Ear Tips

The system includes extra ear tips to ensure a comfortable and secure fit.

  1. Choose an ear tip size that feels snug but comfortable in your ear canal. A good fit is crucial for optimal sound quality and to prevent the hearing aid from falling out.
  2. Gently attach the selected ear tip to the hearing aid.
  3. The hearing aids are designed for universal fit, meaning they can be worn in either the left or right ear.

Operating Instructions

1. Wearing the Hearing Aid

  1. Gently insert the hearing aid into your ear canal until it feels secure and comfortable.
  2. Ensure the ear tip creates a good seal to prevent feedback and maximize sound amplification.

2. Power On/Off

The hearing aids typically power on automatically when removed from the charging case and power off when placed back in the case.

  • To Power On: Remove the hearing aids from the charging case.
  • To Power Off: Place the hearing aids back into the charging case.

3. Volume Control

Locate the volume control on the hearing aid (refer to Figure 1 for general location). Adjust the volume to a comfortable listening level. Start with a lower volume and gradually increase it as needed.

4. Automatic Noise Reduction

The hearing aid system features an automatic noise reduction system designed to minimize background noise and enhance speech clarity.

5. Removing the Hearing Aid

Gently pull on the small, clear pull line attached to the hearing aid to assist with easy and safe removal from your ear.

Charging the Hearing Aids

The hearing aids provide up to 10 hours of working time on a single charge. When the battery is low, you may notice a decrease in sound quality or a warning tone (if applicable).

  1. Place the hearing aids into the charging case.
  2. If the charging case itself is low on battery, connect it to a power source using the USB cable.
  3. A full charge for the hearing aids takes approximately 4-5 hours.
  4. No disposable batteries are required for this system.

Care and Maintenance

Cleaning

  • Regularly clean the ear tips with a soft, dry cloth to remove earwax and debris.
  • If necessary, remove the ear tips and wash them gently with mild soap and water. Ensure they are completely dry before reattaching them to the hearing aids.
  • Wipe the main body of the hearing aids and the charging case with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.
  • Keep the charging contacts on both the hearing aids and the case clean and free of debris to ensure proper charging.

Storage

  • When not in use, store the hearing aids in their charging case to protect them and keep them charged.
