BOSS CUBE Street II Instruction Manual
Model: CUBE-ST2
Introduction
The BOSS CUBE Street II is a portable, battery-powered combo amplifier designed for musicians on the go. Evolved from the popular Roland CUBE Street, this 10-watt stereo amplifier provides rich sound for various mobile settings, from street performances to public speaking events. It features dual channels for microphones and instruments, built-in effects, and a looper function to enhance your performances. Its lightweight design ensures easy portability and quick setup anywhere.
Setup
Powering the Unit
The CUBE Street II can be powered by either the included AC adapter or eight AA batteries. For optimal performance and extended use, it is recommended to use the AC adapter when a power outlet is available.
- AC Adapter: Connect the supplied AC adapter to the DC IN jack on the rear panel of the amplifier and plug it into a standard electrical outlet.
- Batteries: Open the battery compartment on the rear of the unit. Insert eight AA batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+/-). Close the compartment securely.
Connecting Instruments and Microphones
The CUBE Street II features two independent channels for versatile input options.
- MIC/INSTRUMENT Channel: This channel is suitable for connecting a microphone (XLR or 1/4-inch jack) or an instrument. Use the dedicated EQ and Reverb controls for this channel.
- GUITAR/MIC Channel: This channel is designed for guitars (electric or acoustic) and can also accommodate a microphone. It offers various AMP TYPE simulations (Clean, Crunch, Lead, Acoustic Sim, Mic) and dedicated EQ, Chorus/Delay, and Reverb controls.
- AUX IN: For connecting external audio players (e.g., smartphone, MP3 player), use the AUX IN jack.
- i-CUBE LINK: This port allows for easy connection to a smartphone or tablet for recording or streaming performances using compatible apps.
