2. Important Safety Instructions

WARNING: To reduce the risk of electric shock, do not remove the cover or back of the unit. There are no user-serviceable parts inside. Refer all servicing to qualified service personnel.

When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should always be followed, including the following:

  1. Read all instructions before using the appliance.
  2. Do not operate the oven if the door is damaged, or if the unit is malfunctioning.
  3. Do not attempt to service or repair the oven yourself. Contact qualified service personnel.
  4. Ensure proper ventilation around the microwave. Do not block any ventilation openings.
  5. Do not use corrosive chemicals or vapors in this appliance.
  6. Do not heat liquids or other foods in sealed containers as they are liable to explode.

4. Installation

The RecPro RV Microwave is designed for built-in installation using the provided trim kit. 5. Initial Setup

  1. After installation, place the glass turntable and turntable support ring securely inside the microwave cavity.
  2. Plug the microwave into a grounded 120V AC outlet.
  3. Set the clock: Press the 'Clock' button, then use the number pad to enter the current time. Press 'Clock' again to confirm.

6. Operating Instructions

Your RecPro RV Microwave features a user-friendly control panel with various cooking options.

Basic Cooking:

  1. Place food in a microwave-safe container on the turntable.
  2. Close the microwave door securely.
  3. Enter desired cooking time using the number pad.
  4. Press 'Power Level' and select a power level (1-10, 10 being full power). If no power level is selected, the microwave will cook at full power.
  5. Press 'Start' to begin cooking.

Quick Start / Instant Start:

Press the 'Start' button repeatedly to add 30 seconds of cooking time at full power with each press.

Pre-set Cooking Functions:

The control panel includes dedicated buttons for common food items:

  • Popcorn: For microwave popcorn.
  • Potato: For baking potatoes.
  • Pizza: For reheating pizza slices.
  • Beverage: For heating drinks.
  • Frozen Dinner: For heating frozen meals.
  • Reheat: For general food reheating.

Simply press the desired pre-set button, and the microwave will automatically set the appropriate cooking time and power level.

Defrost Functions:

  • Defrost by Weight: Enter the weight of the food, and the microwave will calculate defrosting time.
  • Speed Defrost: For quick defrosting of smaller items.

Child Safety Lock:

To activate the Child Safety Lock, press and hold the 'Stop' button for 3 seconds. The display will indicate that the lock is active. To deactivate, press and hold the 'Stop' button again for 3 seconds.

7. Maintenance

Cleaning the Microwave:

  • Always unplug the microwave before cleaning.
  • Clean the interior and exterior surfaces with a soft, damp cloth and mild detergent. Avoid abrasive cleaners or scouring pads.
  • The glass turntable can be removed and washed with warm, soapy water or in a dishwasher.
  • Wipe the door seal and adjacent parts frequently to remove any spills or splatters.

Care for the Trim Kit:

Wipe the trim kit with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid harsh chemicals that could damage the finish.
