Setup Instructions

Follow these steps to properly set up your air filtration kit:

  1. Mounting the Fan and Filter:

Securely hang the CLOUDLINE inline fan and carbon filter within your grow space. Ensure they are positioned to optimize airflow. The carbon filter comes with handy hanger hooks for easy installation.

  2. Connecting the Ducting:

Connect the four-layer flexible ducting to both the inline fan and the carbon filter. Use the provided duct clamps to ensure a secure and airtight connection. The ducting directs airflow to and from your grow tent.

Operating Instructions

The CLOUDLINE LITE inline fan features a speed controller for easy operation:

  • Power On/Off: Use the power switch on the controller to turn the fan on or off.
  • Adjusting Fan Speed: The controller offers ten fan speeds, controlled by Pulse Width Modulation (PWM) for silent and efficient performance. Rotate the dial to select your desired airflow.
  • Memory Function: The controller has a backup memory feature that remembers your speed settings even after power off and on cycles.

For advanced control and integration with other grow equipment, consider connecting this device to a UIS™ controller. This allows for mixing and matching up to 32 smart grow devices, controlling their output in exact percentages for precision and energy efficiency.

Maintenance

Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and optimal performance of your air filtration kit:

  • Carbon Filter: The carbon filter includes a prefilter cloth. Regularly check and clean or replace the prefilter to prevent dust and debris from clogging the activated charcoal. The carbon filter uses 1200+ IAV activated charcoal for high efficacy odor blocking.
  • Ducting: Inspect the flexible ducting periodically for any tears, kinks, or blockages that could impede airflow. Ensure all connections remain secure.
  • Fan: Keep the fan blades and housing clean from dust buildup. Disconnect power before cleaning.

Troubleshooting

ProblemPossible CauseSolution
Fan not turning on.No power, loose connection, controller issue.Check power outlet, ensure all cables are securely connected to the fan and controller. Verify controller is powered on.
Reduced airflow.Clogged prefilter/carbon filter, kinked ducting, fan speed too low.Clean or replace prefilter. Inspect ducting for obstructions or kinks. Increase fan speed using the controller.
Persistent odors.Saturated carbon filter, improper sealing of grow space.Replace the carbon filter. Ensure your grow tent or space is properly sealed to prevent odor leakage.
Excessive noise.Fan imbalance, loose mounting, high fan speed.Check fan for any obstructions or debris. Ensure fan is securely mounted. Reduce fan speed if noise is due to high airflow.
