Troubleshooting

ProblemPossible CauseSolution
High CPU Temperatures
  • Insufficient thermal paste application or poor contact.
  • Pump not running or running at low speed.
  • Fans not spinning or insufficient airflow.
  • Air bubbles in the loop.
  • Re-apply thermal paste and ensure CPU block is securely and evenly tightened.
  • Check pump power connection and BIOS settings for pump speed.
  • Verify fan connections and adjust fan curves in BIOS/software.
  • Gently tilt the PC case to help dislodge air bubbles.
Pump/Fan Noise
  • Fans running at high RPM.
  • Air bubbles in the pump.
  • Loose fan screws or vibrations.
  • Adjust fan curves to lower RPMs at idle/low load.
  • Gently tilt the PC case to help move air bubbles out of the pump.
  • Ensure all fan screws are tightened.
RGB Lighting Not Working
  • Incorrect RGB header connection (e.g., 12V instead of 5V ARGB).
  • Software conflict or incorrect settings.
  • Ensure connection to a 3-pin 5V addressable RGB header.
  • Check RGB software settings and update drivers.
Liquid Leakage
  • Loose fittings or damaged tubing/components.
  • Immediately power off the system and disconnect from power.
  • Carefully inspect all connections and components for the source of the leak.
  • Contact Alphacool support if a component is damaged or defective.
