1. Product Overview

The AIRTOK AP1002 Air Purifier is designed to improve indoor air quality by effectively removing airborne particles and odors. It features a multi-stage filtration system, including an H13 True HEPA filter, to capture 99.97% of particles as small as 0.3 microns.

This air purifier is suitable for large rooms, covering up to 1100 ft² (102 m²) 1.2 times per hour, 492 ft² (45.7 m²) 2.5 times per hour, and 238 ft² (22.1 m²) 5 times per hour.

2. Setup Instructions

The AIRTOK AP1002 Air Purifier requires minimal setup. Follow these steps before first use:

  1. Unpack the Unit: Carefully remove the air purifier from its packaging.
  2. Remove Filter Packaging: The HEPA filter comes sealed in a plastic bag to maintain its purity. Locate the filter compartment (usually on the back or side panel), open it, and remove the filter. Remove all plastic packaging from the filter.
  3. Reinstall Filter: Place the unwrapped filter back into the unit, ensuring it is correctly seated. Close the filter compartment cover securely.
  4. Position the Purifier: Place the air purifier on a flat, stable surface in the desired room. Ensure there is adequate space around the unit for optimal airflow.
  5. Connect to Power: Plug the power cord into a standard electrical outlet.

3. Operating Instructions

The AIRTOK AP1002 features a user-friendly touch control panel on its top surface. Refer to the diagram below for button functions.

  • Power On/Off: Press the power button to turn the unit on or off.
  • Fan Speed: Cycle through 3 fan speeds (low, medium, high) and a quiet sleep mode. The sleep mode operates at a very low noise level (≤15dB) for undisturbed rest.
  • Timer Function: Set the purifier to operate for 1, 2, 4, or 8 hours. The unit will automatically shut off after the selected time.
  • Child Lock: Press and hold the child lock button for 5 seconds to activate or deactivate. This prevents accidental changes to settings.

4. Maintenance

Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and extends the lifespan of your air purifier. The filter replacement indicator will illuminate when it's time to change the filter.

  • Filter Replacement: When the filter replacement indicator lights up, it's time to replace the filter. Genuine AIRTOK replacement filters for model AP1002 are available (search for "B0991FR77M").
  • Reset Filter Indicator: After replacing the filter, press and hold the filter replacement button for 5 seconds to reset the indicator.
  • Cleaning: Wipe the exterior of the air purifier with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners.
