1. Introduction

The ANCEL HD001 Printer is an exclusive accessory designed to complement your ANCEL HD series heavy-duty truck diagnostic scanner. This thermal printer enables users to quickly print diagnostic reports directly from their scanner, facilitating record-keeping and client communication.

Compatibility: This printer is specifically designed for use with ANCEL HD3100, HD3100 PRO, HD3200, HD3300, HD3400, HD3500, and HD3600 diagnostic tools.

  • Paper Outlet: Where the printed paper exits the device.

3. Setup

3.1 Combining and Separating the Printer Unit

The ANCEL HD001 printer is designed for easy attachment and detachment from compatible ANCEL HD series diagnostic scanners.

  1. To combine: Align the printer unit with the scanner unit and slide them together until they securely click into place.
  2. To separate: Locate the separation switch (refer to Figure 2.1) and activate it, then gently slide the units apart.

3.2 Loading and Changing Printing Paper

The printer uses 80mm thermal paper. Ensure correct paper orientation for proper printing.

  1. Open the paper bin cover.
  2. Place the thermal printing paper into the paper bin. Pay close attention to the direction of the paper feed. If installed incorrectly, the printout will be blank.
  3. Close the paper bin cover securely.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1 Printing Diagnostic Reports

After completing a diagnostic scan with your ANCEL HD series tool, you can print the results directly using the HD001 printer.

  1. Ensure the HD001 printer is properly attached to your ANCEL HD diagnostic scanner and has paper loaded.
  2. On your ANCEL HD scanner, navigate to the option to print the diagnostic report. This is typically a 'Print' button or menu option displayed after a scan is complete.
  3. Confirm the print command. The printer will then generate a physical copy of the diagnostic data.

The printer utilizes real-time thermal printing technology, providing quick and clear printouts at a speed of up to 60 mm/s.

5. Maintenance

5.1 Paper Replacement

Regularly check the paper supply. When the paper roll is depleted, replace it following the steps outlined in Section 3.2, "Loading and Changing Printing Paper." Use thermal paper rolls with dimensions of approximately 3.1 inches by 1.1 inches (80mm width).

5.2 Cleaning

To maintain optimal performance, periodically clean the printer's exterior with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid using abrasive cleaners or solvents. Ensure no dust or debris accumulates in the paper path or around the print head.

6. Troubleshooting
