Product Overview
The PURPLE LEAF 12' X 12' Hardtop Gazebo is designed for outdoor living spaces, offering durable shade and protection. It features a premium galvanized steel double-tiered roof that protects from harmful UV rays while allowing optimum airflow, covering up to 168 square feet of shade. The heavy-duty powder-coated aluminum frame is resistant to scratching and peeling, reinforced with a triangular design for added stability. Rectangular anti-rust stand poles ensure sturdy installation on any type of floor.
This gazebo includes removable easy-care privacy curtains and netting, providing protection from sun and rain while maintaining airflow and visibility. A double track system allows for easy sliding of each layer, ensuring bug-free evenings. The water gutter design directs rainwater away from the edges of the frame and poles, and the tilted roof design simplifies maintenance by preventing debris accumulation.

Setup and Assembly
Assembly typically requires 2-3 people and can take 1-2 days. Power tools (cordless drill with hex bits) are highly recommended for efficiency. Ensure a level and stable surface for installation.
Step 1: Assemble the Base Frame
Attach the feet to the leg posts. Use a cordless drill on a low torque setting to avoid stripping screws. It is advisable to keep screws slightly loose during initial assembly to allow for adjustments.

Step 2: Install Support Beams
Connect the horizontal support beams to the leg posts. Ensure the short end of the support beams is against the wall (if applicable) and the longer end is used for screwing. Keep these connections slightly loose until the entire frame is squared.

Step 3: Assemble Roof Panels
Attach the individual roof panels. This step can be tedious due to the number of panels and the need for precise alignment. It is recommended to start from a corner and work towards the middle, ensuring each panel is properly seated before tightening. Use gloves to protect hands from sharp edges.

Step 4: Install Curtains and Netting
Hang the privacy curtains and netting on the dual track system. The netting features zippers for complete enclosure against insects, while the curtains offer privacy and sun protection. Both can be tied back when not in use.

Operating Instructions
Using Curtains and Netting
The gazebo features a dual-track system allowing independent operation of the privacy curtains and netting. Slide them along the tracks to open or close. The netting can be zipped together to create a fully enclosed, bug-free space. Curtains can be tied back to the posts when not needed.
Hanging Accessories
The roof frame includes 'U' shaped hookers designed for hanging lightweight items such as flower baskets, candlesticks, or night lights. Ensure not to exceed the weight limit of these hooks.

Maintenance
Roof Care
The galvanized steel roof is designed for durability and easy maintenance. The special tilted roof design helps prevent debris accumulation. Regularly clear any leaves or large debris to ensure proper water drainage through the integrated water gutter system.

Frame and Hardware
The powder-coated aluminum frame is resistant to scratching and peeling. Periodically inspect all screws and connections to ensure they remain tight. The rust-resistant hardware is designed for extended durability, but regular checks are recommended.
Curtains and Netting
The yarn-dyed polyester curtains are fade-resistant. Clean them as needed with mild soap and water. The netting is heavy-duty and designed to stay intact even in moderate winds. Ensure both are properly secured during strong winds or storms.
Troubleshooting
Loose Connections/Wobbling
If the gazebo feels wobbly after assembly, re-check all bolted connections. Ensure all screws are tightened, but avoid over-torquing, especially on aluminum parts, to prevent stripping. It is crucial to have the base frame perfectly square before tightening all connections.
Roof Panel Gaps/Misalignment
If gaps appear between roof panels or they seem misaligned, loosen the surrounding screws, adjust the panels to fit correctly, and then re-tighten. Ensure plastic spacers/clips are properly inserted. Using painter's tape to hold spacers in place during installation can be helpful.
Curtains/Netting Issues
If curtains or netting are difficult to slide, check the tracks for any obstructions or debris. Ensure the fabric is not caught or tangled. If curtains flap excessively in the wind, consider adding weighted elements to the bottom edges (not included).
