1. Important Safety Instructions
Please read and understand all safety instructions before using your Luxell LXF-285 Pedestal Fan. Failure to follow these instructions may result in electric shock, fire, or serious injury.
- Always unplug the fan from the power outlet before cleaning, servicing, or when not in use.
- Do not operate the fan with a damaged cord or plug. If the power cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent, or similarly qualified persons to avoid a hazard.
- Keep the fan away from water or other liquids. Do not immerse the fan in water.
- Do not insert fingers or any objects into the fan grill while it is operating.
- Ensure the fan is placed on a stable, level surface to prevent it from tipping over.
- This appliance is for indoor use only. Do not use outdoors.
- Close supervision is necessary when the fan is used by or near children or individuals with reduced physical, sensory, or mental capabilities.
- Do not block air openings or operate near curtains or other materials that could block airflow.
2. Product Components

3. Assembly Instructions
The Luxell LXF-285 Pedestal Fan comes disassembled. Follow these steps for proper assembly.
- Unpack Components: Carefully remove all parts from the packaging. Ensure all components listed in Section 2 are present.
- Assemble the Base: Attach the stand pole to the round base. Secure it firmly using the provided fasteners.
- Attach Motor Unit to Stand: Place the motor unit onto the top of the adjustable stand pole. Secure it with the locking screw or knob.
- Install Rear Grill: Position the rear grill onto the motor unit, aligning the notches. Secure it with the provided clips or screws.
- Attach Fan Blade: Slide the fan blade onto the motor shaft. Important: The fan blade attachment screw has a reverse thread. Turn it counter-clockwise to tighten and clockwise to loosen. Ensure it is securely fastened to avoid damage to plastic components.
- Install Front Grill: Place the front grill over the fan blade and align it with the rear grill. Secure the two grills together using the clips or screws around the perimeter.
- Adjust Height: Loosen the height adjustment knob on the stand pole, extend or retract the pole to your desired height, and then firmly tighten the knob.

4. Operating Instructions
Follow these steps to operate your Luxell LXF-285 Pedestal Fan.
- Power Connection: Plug the power cord into a standard electrical outlet.
- Turn On/Off: Press the '0' button on the control panel to turn the fan off. Press '1', '2', or '3' to turn the fan on and select a speed setting.
- Adjust Fan Speed: The fan offers three speed settings:
- 1: Low Speed
- 2: Medium Speed
- 3: High Speed
- Oscillation Function: To activate the oscillation (side-to-side movement) feature, push down the oscillation pin located on top of the motor housing. To stop oscillation, pull the pin up.
- Adjust Tilt Angle: The fan head can be tilted up or down to direct airflow. Loosen the tilt adjustment knob on the side of the fan head, adjust to the desired angle, and then tighten the knob firmly.

5. Maintenance and Cleaning
Regular cleaning and maintenance will ensure optimal performance and extend the lifespan of your fan.
- Always unplug the fan from the power outlet before cleaning.
- Exterior Cleaning: Wipe the exterior surfaces of the fan with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners, solvents, or harsh chemicals, as these can damage the plastic surfaces.
- Grill and Blade Cleaning: Periodically, dust and debris may accumulate on the fan blades and grills. To clean, carefully remove the front grill (refer to assembly instructions in reverse). Wipe the blades and grills with a soft, dry or slightly damp cloth. Ensure all parts are completely dry before reassembling the grill.
- Storage: When not in use for extended periods, store the fan in a cool, dry place, preferably in its original packaging, to protect it from dust and damage.
6. Troubleshooting
If you encounter issues with your fan, refer to the following common problems and solutions.
- Fan Does Not Turn On:
- Ensure the power cord is securely plugged into a working electrical outlet.
- Check if the power outlet is functional by plugging in another appliance.
- Verify that a speed setting (1, 2, or 3) is selected on the control panel.
- Weak Airflow:
- Ensure the fan speed is set to a higher level (2 or 3).
- Check for any obstructions blocking the front or rear grills.
- Clean the fan blades and grills if dust or debris has accumulated.
- Unusual Noise During Operation:
- Ensure all assembly screws and fasteners are tight.
- Check if the fan is placed on a stable, level surface.
- Inspect the fan blades for any damage or foreign objects.
- Fan Does Not Oscillate:
- Ensure the oscillation pin on top of the motor housing is pushed down.
