5. Operating Instructions

Once properly mounted and wired, the fan will begin operation when a stable 24V DC power supply is connected. The fan is designed for continuous operation within its specified voltage and current limits.

  • Power On: Apply 24V DC power to the connected wires. The fan should start rotating immediately.
  • Power Off: Disconnect the 24V DC power supply to stop the fan.
  • Airflow Direction: The fan typically draws air from the side with the label and exhausts it from the opposite side. Verify the desired airflow direction before final installation.

6. Maintenance

Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and extends the lifespan of your fan.

  • Cleaning: Periodically inspect the fan blades and housing for dust accumulation. Disconnect power before cleaning. Use a soft brush or compressed air to gently remove dust. Avoid using liquids or harsh chemicals.
  • Inspection: Check for any signs of damage to the fan blades, frame, or wiring. Ensure all mounting screws remain tight.
  • Lubrication: This fan is designed with sealed bearings and typically does not require lubrication. Do not attempt to lubricate the bearings unless specifically instructed by the manufacturer.

7. Troubleshooting

If you encounter issues with your fan, refer to the following troubleshooting guide:

  • Fan Not Spinning:
    • Ensure the 24V DC power supply is connected and functioning correctly.
    • Verify that the wiring polarity (red to +, black to -) is correct.
    • Check for any obstructions preventing the blades from rotating.
    • Inspect the wires for damage or loose connections.
  • Unusual Noise:
    • Check for loose mounting screws or vibrations.
    • Ensure no foreign objects are interfering with the fan blades.
    • Dust accumulation on blades can cause imbalance; clean the fan as per maintenance instructions.
  • Reduced Airflow:
    • Check for obstructions at the intake or exhaust.
    • Clean any dust buildup on the fan blades or grille.
    • Verify the fan is receiving the correct 24V DC voltage.

If problems persist after following these steps, contact customer support.
