3. Setup Guide
3.1 Charging Base Placement
Place the charging base against a wall in an open area, ensuring there are no obstacles within 1 meter (3 feet) to the front and 0.5 meters (1.5 feet) to the sides. Connect the power cord to the charging base and plug it into a power outlet.

3.2 Initial Charging
Place the robot vacuum onto the charging base. Ensure the charging contacts on the robot align with those on the base. The indicator light on the robot will show charging status. For first-time use, fully charge the robot before operation.

- Download the Midea MSmartLife APP from your device's app store.
- Register or log in to your account.

4.1 Starting/Pausing Cleaning

4.4 Laser Navigation and Mapping
The integrated LDS (Laser Distance Sensor) technology allows the robot to scan and create a detailed map of your home. This map is used for efficient route planning and can be viewed in the MSmartLife APP. You can set virtual boundaries or specific cleaning zones within the app.

5. Maintenance
Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and extends the lifespan of your robot vacuum.
5.1 Dustbin and Filter Cleaning
Empty the dustbin after each cleaning cycle. Remove the HEPA filter and tap it gently to dislodge dust. The filter can be rinsed with water, but ensure it is completely dry before reinstallation.
5.2 Main Brush and Side Brushes
Periodically remove the main V-shaped roller brush and side brushes to clear tangled hair or debris. Use the provided cleaning tool to cut and remove hair from the main brush. Ensure side brushes are free to rotate.

5.3 Water Tank and Mop Cloth
After mopping, empty any remaining water from the water tank and allow it to air dry. Remove and wash the mop cloth. Replace the mop cloth when it shows signs of wear.

Wipe the sensors (cliff sensors, wall sensors, LDS sensor) and charging contacts on both the robot and the charging base with a dry, soft cloth to ensure proper function.
