Maintenance
Washing Instructions
- Always disconnect the power bank before washing.
- Machine wash cold on a gentle cycle with mild detergent.
- Do not bleach.
- Tumble dry low.
- Do not iron or dry clean.
Scent Control Reactivation
To reactivate the Carbon Alloy technology and restore its odor-adsorbing properties, tumble dry the vest on high heat for 40 minutes after washing or after each use. This process releases trapped odors from the carbon particles.
Storage
Store the vest in a clean, dry place away from direct sunlight. Ensure the power bank is disconnected and stored separately. For optimal scent control, store the vest in an airtight container or bag after reactivation.
Troubleshooting
- Vest Not Heating or Shutting Off Prematurely:
- Ensure the 5V/2A USB power bank is fully charged.
- Verify the USB cable is securely connected to both the vest and the power bank.
- Check if the power bank itself is functioning correctly. Try using it with another device if possible.
- If the vest repeatedly shuts off, the power bank may be insufficient or faulty.
- Power Button Not Responding:
- Ensure the power bank is connected and turned on (if it has its own power button).
- Try pressing and holding the vest's power button for a longer duration (3-5 seconds).
- USB Connector Issues:
- Handle the USB connector with care to prevent bending or damage.
- Ensure the power bank is placed securely in the pocket to minimize strain on the connector.
- Odor Control Effectiveness Decreased:
- Reactivate the Carbon Alloy technology by tumble drying the vest on high heat for 40 minutes.
- Ensure proper storage in an airtight container when not in use.
