4. Setup

  1. Unpacking: Carefully remove the welder and all accessories from the packaging. Inspect for any shipping damage.

  3. Ground Clamp Connection: Connect the ground clamp cable to the negative (-) output terminal of the welder. Securely attach the ground clamp to the workpiece or welding table, ensuring good electrical contact.
  4. Electrode Holder Connection: Connect the electrode holder cable to the positive (+) output terminal of the welder.
  5. Electrode Insertion: Insert the desired electrode (1.6-4.0mm diameter) into the electrode holder.
  6. Ventilation: Ensure the welding area is well-ventilated to disperse fumes.

5. Operating Instructions

  1. Power On: Turn on the power switch located at the rear of the unit. The digital display will illuminate.
  2. Current Adjustment: Use the current adjustment knob on the control panel to set the desired welding current (Amperes). Refer to the electrode manufacturer's recommendations for appropriate current settings.
  3. Safety Gear: Put on all necessary personal protective equipment (PPE), including a welding helmet, gloves, and protective clothing.
  4. Start Welding: Bring the electrode into contact with the workpiece to strike an arc. Maintain a consistent arc length and travel speed for optimal weld quality.
  5. Monitor Performance: Observe the digital display for current readings and any error indicators. The machine features IGBT technology for stable arc performance.
  6. Cooling: The internal fan will operate during use to cool the components. Avoid blocking the ventilation openings.
  7. Power Off: After welding, turn off the power switch and allow the machine to cool down before storing.
