Setup
1. Charging the Battery
- Connect the charger to a standard 110-240 Volt AC power outlet.
- Slide the 20V Lithium-Ion battery pack onto the charger base. Ensure it clicks into place.
- The charger indicator light will show the charging status. Refer to the charger's specific instructions for light indications (e.g., red for charging, green for fully charged).
- Allow the battery to fully charge before first use. Charging time may vary.
- Once charged, disconnect the charger from the power outlet and remove the battery.
2. Installing/Removing the Battery Pack
- To Install: Align the battery pack with the base of the impact driver handle. Slide the battery into the tool until it locks securely into place with an audible click.
- To Remove: Press the battery release button (usually located on the sides of the battery pack) and slide the battery out of the tool.
3. Installing/Removing Sockets
- To Install: Push the desired socket (17mm, 19mm, or 21mm) onto the square drive anvil of the impact driver until it is firmly seated.
- To Remove: Pull the socket firmly off the square drive anvil.
Operating Instructions
1. Powering On/Off and Speed Control
- The tool is activated by pressing the trigger switch.
- The impact driver features variable speed control. Pressing the trigger further increases the speed, up to a maximum no-load speed of 2300 RPM.
- Release the trigger to turn off the tool.
2. Forward/Reverse Rotation
- A forward/reverse selector switch is located above the trigger.
- Push the switch to the left for forward rotation (tightening).
- Push the switch to the right for reverse rotation (loosening).
- Position the switch in the center to lock the trigger and prevent accidental starting. Always engage the lock when not in use or when changing accessories.
3. Integrated Working Light
The impact driver is equipped with an integrated LED working light. This light automatically illuminates when the trigger is pressed, providing improved visibility in dimly lit work areas.
4. Impact Mechanism
The impact mechanism engages when resistance is met, delivering powerful rotational and tangential blows to the fastener. This allows for high torque applications, such as tightening or loosening stubborn bolts, with a maximum torque of 300 NM and an impact rate of 0-3550 BPM.
Maintenance
1. Cleaning
- Regularly clean the ventilation openings of the tool to prevent overheating.
- Use a soft, damp cloth to wipe down the tool's exterior. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.
- Never immerse the tool or battery in water.
2. Battery Care and Storage
- Store batteries in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
