Important Safety Information

  • Read all instructions before using the appliance.
  • Do not touch hot surfaces. Use handles or knobs.
  • To protect against electrical shock, do not immerse cord, plugs, or the appliance in water or other liquid.

3. Installation

The VBGK Electric Cooktop offers flexibility for installation as either a built-in unit or a countertop appliance.

Built-in Installation

For built-in use, ensure the countertop opening dimensions are appropriate for the cooktop. The cooktop dimensions are approximately 20.8 inches (51 cm) in depth, 11.3 inches (28.8 cm) in width, and 3.07 inches (8 cm) in height. Allow adequate ventilation space around the unit as per local building codes and electrical regulations. Professional installation is recommended for built-in applications.

Countertop Use

For countertop use, place the cooktop on a stable, flat, heat-resistant surface. Ensure there is sufficient clearance from walls and other appliances for proper ventilation. The cooktop is equipped with feet for stability. Plug the appliance directly into a grounded 110-120V electrical outlet.

4. Operating Instructions

Power On/Off

  • To turn on, press the ON/OFF button. The display will illuminate.
  • To turn off, press the ON/OFF button again.

Setting Power Levels

  • After turning on, select the desired cooking zone.
  • Use the + or - buttons to adjust the power level from P1 (lowest) to P9 (highest).

Setting Temperature

  • The cooktop offers 20 temperature settings, ranging from 80°C to 650°C.
  • Press the Power/Temperature/Time button to cycle through modes until temperature adjustment is active, then use + or - to set the desired temperature.

Timer Function

  • With the cooktop operating, press the Power/Temperature/Time button until the timer setting is active.
  • Use the + or - buttons to set the desired cooking time from 1 to 120 minutes.
  • The cooktop will automatically turn off once the timer expires.

Child Safety Lock

  • To activate the child safety lock, press and hold the LOCK button for a few seconds until the lock indicator appears. This will disable the control panel.
  • To deactivate, press and hold the LOCK button again until the indicator disappears.
