Introduction
The Philips Avent Natural Baby Bottles are designed to support your baby's natural feeding rhythm, making it easier to combine breast and bottle feeding. Featuring a unique Natural Response nipple, milk is released only when your baby actively drinks, mimicking the natural flow of breastfeeding. The no-drip design helps prevent spills, and the integrated anti-colic valve reduces air intake to minimize discomfort. These 11oz bottles come with a Fast Flow (Flow 4) nipple and are made from BPA-free polypropylene for your baby's safety.

Operating Instructions
Filling the Bottle:
- Unscrew the nipple and ring assembly from the bottle.
- Pour the desired amount of breast milk or formula into the bottle. The bottle has clear measurement markings in both US fl oz and ml.
- Re-attach the nipple and ring assembly, ensuring it is securely tightened.
Feeding Your Baby:
- The Natural Response nipple is designed to release milk only when your baby actively sucks, similar to breastfeeding. This allows your baby to control the pace of feeding.
- When feeding, ensure the anti-colic valve (the small slit on the nipple base) is positioned upwards, towards your baby's nose, to allow air to vent away from their tummy.
- Observe your baby's feeding cues. If your baby takes longer than 20 minutes to drink 1.7 oz (50 ml) or seems frustrated, consider trying a different nipple flow rate.
- This bottle comes with a Fast Flow (Flow 4) nipple. Philips Avent offers 5 different flow rates (Extra Slow, Slow, Medium, Fast, Extra Fast) to match your baby's drinking rhythm.

Maintenance
Cleaning:
- Disassemble all parts of the bottle before cleaning.
- Wash all components in warm, soapy water using a soft brush or sponge. Rinse thoroughly.
- All parts are dishwasher safe (top rack recommended).
- The wide bottleneck makes cleaning easy, allowing access to all areas.
Sterilization:
- The bottles are microwaveable. Follow microwave sterilization instructions carefully.
- Alternatively, use a Philips Avent sterilizer or boil components in water for 5 minutes.

Troubleshooting
- Baby takes too long to feed or seems frustrated: This may indicate the nipple flow rate is too slow. Consider switching to a higher flow nipple (e.g., from Flow 4 to Flow 5). If feeding difficulties persist, consult a healthcare professional.
- Milk leaking from baby's mouth or gulping: This may indicate the nipple flow rate is too fast. Consider switching to a lower flow nipple.
- Nipple confusion: The Natural Response nipple is designed to mimic the breast, making it easier to combine breast and bottle feeding. If your baby experiences difficulty switching, ensure proper latch and feeding technique.
- Colic or discomfort: The integrated anti-colic valve is designed to reduce air intake. Ensure the valve is positioned correctly (upwards, towards baby's nose) during feeding.
- Leaks during transport: Ensure all bottle components are securely assembled and the protective cap is firmly in place. The no-drip nipple design helps prevent leaks from the tip.
