This device is designed to enhance driving safety by providing a wide field of view with both front and rear cameras, high-resolution recording, and smart features. Please read this manual carefully before installation and operation to ensure proper use and optimal performance.

3. Setup and Installation

3.1 Mounting the Main Unit

  1. Ensure the vehicle's engine is off.
  2. Attach the main dash cam unit to your existing rearview mirror using the provided rubber straps. Secure it firmly to prevent vibration.
  3. Adjust the angle of the front camera lens, which can be tilted up/down and left/right by approximately 15 degrees.

3.2 Rear Camera Installation

  1. Connect the rear camera to the main unit using the provided extension cable.
  2. Route the cable neatly along the vehicle's interior trim to the rear of the vehicle. Use the cable management tool to tuck cables away.
  3. Mount the rear camera at the desired location on the rear of your vehicle. The camera is IP68 waterproof, suitable for external mounting.
  4. For reverse assist functionality, connect the red wire from the rear camera cable to your vehicle's reverse light power supply. Consult a professional if unsure.

3.3 Power Connection

  1. Insert the car charger into your vehicle's cigarette lighter socket.
  2. Connect the other end of the car charger cable to the main dash cam unit.
  3. The device will power on automatically when the vehicle's ignition is turned on.

3.4 GPS Antenna and MicroSD Card

4. Operating Instructions

4.1 Power On/Off

The dash cam automatically powers on when the vehicle's ignition is started and powers off when the ignition is turned off. You can also manually power it on/off by pressing and holding the power button.

4.2 Touch Screen Controls

The 11-inch IPS LCD touch panel allows for intuitive control:

ProblemPossible Cause / Solution
Device does not power on.
  • Check if the car charger is properly connected and the vehicle's ignition is on.
  • Ensure the cigarette lighter socket is functioning.
  • Try a different power source if available.
Recording stops or freezes.
  • Format the MicroSD card.
  • Ensure the MicroSD card is a high-speed (Class 10 or U3) card.
  • The card may be full; enable loop recording or replace the card.
Poor video quality.
  • Clean the camera lenses.
  • Adjust the video resolution in settings.
  • Ensure the anti-glare film is properly applied.
GPS signal not acquired.
  • Ensure the GPS antenna is connected and placed in a location with a clear view of the sky.
  • Wait a few minutes for the device to acquire a signal.
Voice control not responding.
  • Speak clearly and directly towards the device.
  • Ensure the vehicle interior is not excessively noisy.

For initial defects within 30 days of delivery, free repair or replacement is available.
