The Homeleader Upgraded Orange Juicer is designed for efficient and easy citrus juicing. Familiarize yourself with its components:

• Dust Cover: Protects the juicing cone when not in use.
• Large Juicing Cone: For larger citrus fruits like oranges and grapefruits.
• Small Juicing Cone: For smaller citrus fruits like lemons and limes.
• Filter: Separates pulp and seeds from the juice.
• Juice Container (1.2L Capacity): Collects the extracted juice. Features measurement markings.
• Shaft: Connects the juicing cone to the motor.
• LED Lamp: Indicator light for operation.
• Motor Base: Houses the powerful 40W motor and power controls.

Setup

Before first use, wash all detachable parts (cones, filter, juice container, dust cover) in warm, soapy water or on the top rack of your dishwasher. Wipe the motor base with a damp cloth.

1. Place the motor base on a stable, flat surface.
2. Align the juice container with the motor base and gently twist until it locks into place.
3. Insert the filter into the juice container.
4. Select the appropriate juicing cone (large for oranges/grapefruits, small for lemons/limes) and place it onto the shaft, ensuring it is securely seated.
5. Place the dust cover over the cone if not juicing immediately.

Operating Instructions

Enjoy fresh juice with minimal effort.

1. Prepare your citrus fruit by washing it thoroughly and cutting it in half.
2. Ensure the juicer is properly assembled and plugged into a 110V power outlet. The LED indicator light will illuminate.
3. Place one half of the fruit, cut-side down, onto the selected juicing cone.
4. Gently press down on the fruit. The motor will automatically start, and the cone will begin to rotate bidirectionally to extract maximum juice.
5. Continue pressing until all juice is extracted. The pulp and seeds will be collected in the filter.
6. Release pressure to stop the motor.
7. To dispense juice, pull down the anti-drip spout located on the front of the juice container. Push it up to stop the flow.

Pulp Control

The integrated filter effectively separates pulp and seeds, ensuring a smooth juice. For those who prefer more pulp, some pulp will naturally pass through the filter. The lever mechanism extracts up to 30% more juice.

Maintenance and Cleaning

Regular cleaning ensures optimal performance and hygiene.

1. Unplug the juicer from the power outlet before cleaning.
2. Disassemble all detachable parts: dust cover, juicing cone(s), filter, and juice container.
3. Wash these parts in warm, soapy water or place them on the top rack of your dishwasher.
4. Wipe the motor base with a soft, damp cloth. Do not immerse the motor base in water.
5. Ensure all parts are completely dry before reassembling or storing the juicer.

Troubleshooting

If you encounter any issues, refer to the following common problems and solutions:

• Juicer does not turn on:
  • Ensure the power cord is securely plugged into a working outlet.
  • Check that the juice container is correctly locked onto the motor base.
  • Verify that you are applying sufficient downward pressure on the fruit to activate the motor.
• Low juice yield:
  • Ensure you are using the correct size juicing cone for your fruit.
  • Apply firm, consistent downward pressure on the fruit.
  • The bidirectional rotation should help extract maximum juice.
• Excessive pulp in juice:
  • Check that the filter is correctly installed.
  • Clean the filter regularly to prevent blockages.
