1. Introduction

This manual provides comprehensive instructions for the Kidamento Model P Instant Print Digital Camera. It covers initial setup, operational procedures, maintenance guidelines, and troubleshooting tips to ensure optimal performance and longevity of your device. 2. What's in the Box

Upon unboxing your Kidamento Model P camera, please verify that all the following items are included:

3. Setup

3.1 Charging the Camera

Before first use, fully charge the camera battery. Connect the provided USB cable to the camera's USB port and to a compatible USB power adapter (not included) or computer. The charging indicator light will illuminate during charging and turn off when complete.

3.2 Inserting/Checking Memory Card

The camera comes with a 32GB MicroSD memory card pre-installed. To access the memory card slot, locate the protective cover on the side of the camera. Ensure the card is securely seated for proper photo and video storage.

3.3 Loading Print Paper

The Kidamento Model P uses thermal paper for instant printing, requiring no ink cartridges. To load a new roll:

  1. Gently open the front cover of the camera where the paper exits.
  2. Insert a new thermal paper roll, ensuring the paper feeds from the bottom and the leading edge is slightly exposed.
  3. Close the cover firmly until it clicks into place.

3.4 Attaching the Neck Strap

Attach the provided neck strap to the designated loops on the camera's ears. This helps prevent accidental drops and makes the camera easy to carry.

4. Operating the Camera

4.1 Power On/Off

Press and hold the power button (usually located on the side or top) for a few seconds to turn the camera on or off. The screen will illuminate upon power-on.

4.2 Taking Photos

The camera features both a front-facing lens and a selfie camera. Use the digital button (often marked with a camera icon) to switch between photo and video modes and to capture images. The 2.4-inch HD screen allows for live preview.

4.3 Recording Videos

In video mode, press the digital button to start and stop recording. The camera supports 1080p video resolution. Videos are saved to the installed memory card.

4.4 Printing Photos

After taking a photo, or when viewing a saved image from the digital album, press the dedicated print button (often marked with a printer icon) to instantly print the image. Prints are black and white and typically take about 3 seconds to emerge. Each paper roll can print up to 70-75 photos.

4.5 Using Filters and Frames

The camera includes approximately 20 built-in filters and frames. Navigate through the menu using the directional buttons to select and apply these creative effects to your photos before capturing or printing.

4.6 Transferring Files

Connect the camera to a computer using the USB cable to transfer photos and videos from the memory card. The camera will appear as a removable storage device.

5. Maintenance

5.1 Cleaning the Camera

Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the camera body. For the lens and screen, use a microfiber cloth specifically designed for optics. Avoid abrasive cleaners or solvents.

5.2 Paper Refills

When the paper roll is depleted, replace it with Kidamento-compatible thermal paper rolls. Refill packs for both standard and sticker paper are available from the Kidamento store. No ink or cartridge recharge is ever needed.

5.3 Battery Care

To prolong battery life, avoid fully discharging the battery frequently. Charge the camera regularly, especially if it will be stored for an extended period.
