1. Product Overview

The Miady BP-4CH is a versatile 4-channel V-Mount battery charger designed for professional use. 2. Setup Instructions

Follow these steps to set up your Miady BP-4CH charger:

1. Unpack the Charger: Carefully remove the charger and all accessories from the packaging. Verify that all components listed in the 'What You Get' section are present.
2. Connect Power: Connect the provided AC power cable to the AC socket on the charger and then to a standard wall outlet (AC100-240V 50/60Hz). Ensure the AC Power Switch is in the OFF position before connecting.
3. Power On: Flip the AC Power Switch to the ON position. The Power Indicator LED should illuminate.
4. Prepare Batteries: Ensure your V-Mount batteries are clean and free of debris on their contacts.
5. Mount Batteries: Align the V-Mount battery with one of the charger's V-lock plates and slide it down until it clicks securely into place. Repeat for additional batteries.

3. Operating Instructions

3.1 Charging Batteries

Once batteries are securely mounted and the charger is powered on, the charging process will begin automatically. The charger features an intelligent management system to optimize charging speed and safety.

• Rapid Charging: When one or two batteries are connected, the charger provides a rapid charging current of 3A per channel.
• Standard Charging: When three or four batteries are connected, the charger provides a standard charging current of 2A per channel.

Monitor the charging status using the LED indicators:

• Red LED: Indicates the battery is currently charging.
• Green LED: Indicates the battery charge level has reached 85% or higher.
• LED Off: Indicates the battery is fully charged.

3.2 DC Power Supply Output

The Miady BP-4CH can also function as a DC power supply. It provides a 16.5V output through its 4-pin XLR DC output adapter. This feature allows you to power compatible camcorders, portable VTRs, and other professional equipment directly from the charger, even while batteries are charging (if the charger is connected to AC power).

• To use the DC output, connect a compatible 4-pin XLR female cable (not included) from the charger's DC OUT port to your device.
• Ensure your device is compatible with a 16.5V DC input.

4. Maintenance
