3. Package Contents

4. Setup and Installation
Installation typically requires only a screwdriver. Ensure your door's backset, cross bore, and thickness are compatible before proceeding.
4.1 Pre-Installation Checks
- Measure your door's backset (distance from door edge to center of bore hole).
- Confirm the cross bore diameter and door thickness meet specifications.
4.2 Mechanical Installation
- Remove your existing deadbolt.
- Install the new deadbolt latch into the door edge.
- Mount the exterior keypad assembly.
- Attach the interior mounting plate.
- Connect the cable from the exterior keypad to the interior lock assembly.
- Secure the interior lock assembly to the mounting plate.

4.3 Battery Installation
Insert the required batteries into the interior lock assembly, ensuring correct polarity. The lock uses a 9V battery backup, accessible via a tamper-resistant battery cover.
5. Operating Instructions
5.1 Key-Free Unlocking
To unlock the deadbolt, touch the keypad to wake it up, then enter your 4-8 digit entry code followed by the checkmark button.

5.2 One-Touch Locking
To lock the deadbolt, simply tap the keypad. The lock will engage automatically.
5.3 myQ App Integration
Pair the smart lock with a Chamberlain Smart Garage Control hub (sold separately) to enable remote features via the myQ app. The lock must be within range of the Smart Garage Control for remote functionality.
- Remote Lock/Unlock: Control your deadbolt from anywhere using the myQ app.
- Activity Monitoring: View door activity and receive alerts directly on your smartphone.
- Pin Code Management: Create and manage unique personal pin codes for family members or guests within the myQ app. Receive notifications when a specific pin code is used.

5.4 Amazon Key In-Garage Delivery
When paired with a Smart Garage Control hub, the lock integrates with Amazon Key In-Garage Delivery. The deadbolt will automatically lock the garage entryway door during a delivery and unlock once the delivery is complete, ensuring security.

6. Maintenance
6.1 Battery Replacement
When batteries are low, the lock will provide an audible and visual alert. Replace all batteries with new alkaline batteries to ensure optimal performance. Access the battery compartment by removing the tamper-resistant cover on the interior assembly.
6.2 Cleaning
Clean the touchscreen keypad with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners or solvents that could damage the finish or electronic components.
7. Troubleshooting
- Lock not responding: Check battery levels and ensure they are correctly installed.
- Keypad not lighting up: Tap the keypad to wake it. If it remains unresponsive, check batteries.
- myQ app connectivity issues: Ensure the Smart Garage Control hub is powered on and within Bluetooth range of the lock. Verify your home Wi-Fi connection.
- Deadbolt not extending/retracting fully: Check for obstructions in the door frame or ensure the lock is properly aligned.
