1. Important Safety Information

Please read this manual carefully before using the SUPRA BOREA+ Tower Fan and keep it for future reference. Failure to follow these instructions may result in electric shock, fire, or serious injury.

  • Always ensure the fan is placed on a stable, flat surface to prevent tipping.
  • Do not insert fingers or foreign objects into the grille while the fan is operating.
  • Keep the fan away from water or other liquids. Do not use in damp environments like bathrooms.
  • Unplug the fan from the power outlet before cleaning, moving, or when not in use.
  • Do not operate the fan with a damaged cord or plug. Contact qualified service personnel for repair.
  • Keep children and pets away from the fan during operation.
  • Ensure the power supply voltage matches the rating label on the fan.
  • Do not cover the fan or obstruct its air inlets/outlets.

3. Setup

3.1 Unpacking

  1. Carefully remove the fan and all packaging materials from the box.
  2. Check for any damage during transit. If damaged, do not operate the fan and contact customer support.
  3. Ensure all components are present: fan unit, round base, remote control.

3.2 Base Assembly

The fan base may require minor assembly. Follow these steps:

  1. Place the fan unit upside down on a soft, flat surface to avoid scratching.
  2. Align the two halves of the round base (if separate) and attach them to the bottom of the fan unit.
  3. Secure the base using the provided screws, if any, ensuring it is firmly attached.
  4. Route the power cord through the designated channel in the base for stability.
  5. Carefully turn the fan upright and place it on a stable surface.

3.3 Placement

  • Place the fan on a firm, level surface.
  • Ensure there is at least 30 cm (12 inches) of clear space around the fan for optimal airflow.
  • Avoid placing the fan near curtains or other objects that could obstruct the air intake or outlet.
  • Plug the power cord into a standard electrical outlet (220-240V, 50Hz).

4. Operating Instructions

The SUPRA BOREA+ Tower Fan can be operated using either the digital control panel on top of the unit or the included remote control.

4.1 Digital Control Panel

Refer to Figure 2 for the layout of the control panel buttons.

  • Power Button (): Press once to turn the fan ON, press again to turn it OFF.
  • Speed Button (): Press repeatedly to cycle through the 3 speed settings: Low, Medium, High. Corresponding indicator lights will illuminate.
  • Mode Button (🌙): Press repeatedly to select one of the 3 operating modes:
    • Constant: Provides a continuous airflow at the selected speed.
    • Breeze: Simulates a natural breeze by varying the fan speed.
    • Night: Operates at a lower, quieter speed, ideal for sleeping.
  • Timer Button (🕓): Press repeatedly to set the auto-off timer for 1, 2, 4, or 7 hours. The corresponding indicator light will show the selected duration.
  • Oscillation Button (): Press once to activate the oscillation function, allowing the fan to rotate from side to side. Press again to stop oscillation at the current position.

4.2 Remote Control

The remote control duplicates all functions of the digital control panel, offering convenient operation from a distance. Ensure the remote control has working batteries (not included, typically 2x AAA). Point the remote control directly at the fan's receiver for best results.

  • Power Button: Turns the fan ON/OFF.
  • Speed Button: Adjusts fan speed.
  • Mode Button: Cycles through operating modes.
  • Timer Button: Sets the auto-off timer.
  • Oscillation Button: Activates/deactivates oscillation.

There is a dedicated slot on the fan for storing the remote control when not in use.

5. Maintenance

Regular cleaning and proper storage will ensure the longevity and efficient operation of your SUPRA BOREA+ Tower Fan.

5.1 Cleaning

  1. Always unplug the fan from the power outlet before cleaning.
  2. Use a soft, damp cloth to wipe the exterior surfaces of the fan. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
  3. For dust accumulation on the air intake and outlet grilles, use a vacuum cleaner with a brush attachment or compressed air to gently remove dust.
  4. Ensure no water or liquid enters the internal components of the fan.
  5. Allow the fan to dry completely before plugging it back in and operating.

5.2 Storage

  • When not in use for extended periods, unplug the fan and clean it as described above.
  • Store the fan in its original packaging or cover it with a cloth to protect it from dust.
  • Store in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.

6. Troubleshooting

If you encounter any issues with your SUPRA BOREA+ Tower Fan, please refer to the following common problems and solutions:
