2. Safety Information

  • Ensure the solar panel receives direct sunlight for optimal charging.

4. Installation

The Bionic Floodlight offers versatile installation options: ground staking or wall mounting.

4.1 Choosing a Location

Select a location where the solar panel can receive at least 6-8 hours of direct sunlight daily. Avoid areas under eaves, trees, or other obstructions that might block sunlight or the motion sensor's field of view.

4.2 Ground Staking Installation

  1. Attach the ground stake to the bottom of the floodlight unit.
  2. Firmly push the stake into soft ground in your desired location. Ensure the unit is stable and upright.
  3. Adjust the solar panel to face the sun and the light heads to illuminate the target area.

4.3 Wall Mounting Installation

  1. Mark the desired mounting points on the wall using the provided mounting bracket as a template.
  2. Drill pilot holes if necessary, then secure the mounting bracket to the wall using screws.
  3. Attach the floodlight unit to the secured mounting bracket.
  4. Adjust the solar panel and light heads for optimal performance.

5. Operation

The Bionic Floodlight is designed for simple operation using the included remote control.

5.1 Initial Charge

Before first use, allow the floodlight to charge in direct sunlight for at least 24 hours to ensure the internal battery is fully charged.

5.2 Remote Control Functions

The remote control features three primary buttons:

  • OFF Button: Turns the light off and overrides any automatic functions.
  • STROBE: Activates a strobe light effect.
  • Sensor Mode: Enables the automatic motion-sensing function. The light will turn on when motion is detected and turn off a few seconds after motion stops or is out of range.

6. Maintenance

  • Cleaning the Solar Panel: Regularly wipe the solar panel with a soft, damp cloth to remove dust, dirt, or debris. A clean panel ensures efficient charging.
  • Checking for Obstructions: Periodically check that no new obstructions (e.g., overgrown branches) are blocking sunlight from reaching the solar panel or interfering with the motion sensor.
  • Battery Longevity: The internal battery is designed for long-term use. If the light's performance significantly degrades over time, ensure the solar panel is clean and receiving adequate sunlight.
