1. Introduction

The VIVOSUN 4L Cool Mist Humidifier is designed to enhance air quality and comfort in your home. 3. Setup Instructions

Follow these steps to set up your humidifier for first-time use.

1. Unpack the Humidifier: Carefully remove all components from the packaging. Place the humidifier on a flat, stable, and water-resistant surface.
2. Fill the Water Tank:

   Remove the top cover. Unscrew the water tank cap from the bottom of the tank. Fill the tank with clean, cool distilled water. Avoid using hot water or adding water directly into the mist outlet. Securely replace the water tank cap.
3. Assemble the Unit: Place the filled water tank back onto the base, ensuring it is seated correctly. Replace the top cover.
4. Connect to Power: Plug the power adapter into the humidifier's power port and then into a standard electrical outlet.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1 Basic Operation

• Power On/Off: Press the power button on the unit or the remote control to turn the humidifier on or off.
• Adjust Mist Levels: The humidifier offers 3 adjustable mist levels (High/Medium/Low). Press the mist button on the unit or remote to cycle through the settings.

• 360° Rotating Nozzle: Manually adjust the direction of the mist output by rotating the nozzle on top of the unit.

4.2 Advanced Features

• Timer Function: Set the humidifier to operate for a specific duration (1/2/4/8 hours) using the timer button. The unit will automatically shut off once the set time expires.
• Sleep Mode: Activate Sleep Mode to turn off all lights and sounds for an undisturbed night.
• Air Ionizer & Built-in Filter: The integrated air ionizer and built-in filter work to provide cleaner air by increasing negative oxygen ions. The filter helps control water source cleanliness.

• Essential Oil Diffuser: Add a few drops of your preferred essential oil to the aroma oil box located on the unit to circulate aromatic oils into the mist.

4.3 Smart App Integration (Optional)

The VIVOSUN humidifier can be controlled via a smart app for enhanced functionality. Refer to the app's instructions for pairing and advanced settings, including scheduling and target humidity levels.

5. Maintenance

Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and longevity of your humidifier.

5.1 Cleaning

• Daily Maintenance: Empty and rinse the water tank and base daily. Allow all parts to air dry before reassembly.
• Weekly Cleaning: To remove mineral buildup (scale), fill the water tank with a mixture of equal parts white vinegar and water. Let it soak for 30 minutes, then scrub with a soft brush. Rinse thoroughly.
• Base Cleaning: Clean the nebulizer and water sensor in the base with a soft brush and vinegar solution. Do not submerge the base in water.

5.2 Filter Replacement

The humidifier includes a built-in filter. Periodically check the filter for buildup and replace it as needed to maintain air quality. Replacement filters can be purchased from VIVOSUN's official channels.

• No Mist Output:
  • Check if the water tank is empty. Refill if necessary.

• Unusual Odor:
  • Clean the water tank and base thoroughly.
  • Use distilled water to prevent mineral buildup and odors.
• Excessive Noise:
  • Ensure the humidifier is placed on a flat, stable surface.
  • Check for any foreign objects in the water tank or base.
• Leaking Water:
  • Ensure the water tank cap is tightly closed.
  • Verify the water tank is properly positioned on the base.
  • Do not overfill the water tank.
