Safety Information

• Pump: Maintenance-free axial cam pump, providing 3400 PSI and 2.6 GPM.
• High Pressure Hose: 25-foot abrasion-resistant Super-Flex hose.
• Spray Gun and Wand: Lightweight high-pressure spray gun with a pro-steel wand.
• Nozzle Set: Five quick-connect nozzles (0°, 15°, 25°, 40°, and Soap).
• Soap Tank: Built-in 0.5-gallon onboard soap tank for detergent application.
• Wheels: 12-inch high-profile, never-flat wheels for easy mobility.

Setup

Initial Assembly

The pressure washer requires minimal assembly. Follow the instructions in the included user manual for detailed steps. Typically, this involves attaching the handle, wheels, and hose rack.

Adding Engine Oil and Fuel

1. Place the pressure washer on a level surface.
2. Locate the oil fill cap/dipstick on the engine.
3. Carefully add the provided 10W-30 engine oil using the funnel cap until the oil level reaches the full mark on the dipstick. Do not overfill.
4. Fill the fuel tank with fresh, unleaded gasoline (minimum 87 octane). Ensure the fuel cap is securely tightened. The fuel tank capacity is 1 gallon.

Connecting Water Supply

1. Connect a standard garden hose to the water inlet on the pressure washer. Ensure the connection is tight to prevent leaks.
2. Connect the high-pressure hose to the pump outlet and to the spray gun.
3. Turn on the water supply completely. Allow water to flow through the pump and out of the spray gun (without a nozzle attached) for about 30 seconds to purge air from the system.

Operating Instructions

Starting the Engine

1. Ensure the water supply is fully on and connected.
2. Turn the fuel valve to the "ON" position.
3. Move the engine switch to the "ON" position.
4. If the engine is cold, move the choke lever to the "CHOKE" position. For a warm engine, set it to "RUN".
5. Pull the recoil starter handle firmly and smoothly until the engine starts.
6. Once the engine starts, gradually move the choke lever to the "RUN" position.

Using Nozzles

The WPX3400 comes with 5 quick-connect nozzles for various cleaning tasks. Always turn off the engine and release pressure by squeezing the spray gun trigger before changing nozzles.

• 0° (Red): Pin-point jet for tough, concentrated cleaning. Use with extreme caution.
• 15° (Yellow): Narrow, high-pressure spray for intense cleaning of small areas.
• 25° (Green): Medium-angle spray for general cleaning of most surfaces.
• 40° (White): Wide-angle spray for light cleaning and rinsing.
• Soap (Black): Low-pressure spray for applying detergent.

Using the Soap Tank

To apply detergent, fill the onboard soap tank with pressure washer-specific detergent. Attach the black soap nozzle to the spray gun. The pressure washer will automatically draw detergent when operating at low pressure with the soap nozzle.

Cleaning Techniques

Always test a small, inconspicuous area first to avoid damage. Hold the spray gun at an angle to the surface and maintain a consistent distance for even cleaning. For delicate surfaces, use a wider spray angle (e.g., 40°) and increase distance.

Maintenance

Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and optimal performance of your pressure washer.

After Each Use

• Turn off the engine and water supply.
• Squeeze the spray gun trigger to release any remaining pressure in the system.
• Disconnect hoses and drain any remaining water from the pump and hoses.
• Clean the exterior of the unit with a damp cloth.
• Clean the nozzle tips to prevent clogging.

Engine Oil Check and Change

Check the engine oil level before each use. Change the engine oil after the first 5 hours of operation, and then every 50 hours or annually, whichever comes first. Refer to the engine manual for specific oil change procedures.

Pump Protection

Before storing the pressure washer for an extended period (over 30 days) or in freezing temperatures, use a pump protector or non-toxic antifreeze. This prevents corrosion and damage to the pump's internal components.

Storage

Store the pressure washer in a clean, dry, and well-ventilated area, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. Ensure the fuel tank is either empty or filled with stabilized fuel to prevent fuel degradation.
