2. Safety Instructions

Key Controls and Ports:

5. Setup
5.1 Power Connection
The SCD-6900 can be powered by AC mains or batteries.

- Battery Power: Open the battery compartment cover on the bottom of the unit. Insert 8 x 'C' size batteries (not included), ensuring correct polarity (+/-). Close the compartment cover securely.
5.2 Antenna
Extend the telescopic antenna fully for optimal DAB+ and FM radio reception. Adjust its position for the best signal.
6. Operating Instructions
6.1 Power On/Off
Press the POWER button to turn the unit on or off.
6.2 Mode Selection
Press the FUNCTION/MODE button repeatedly to cycle through the available modes: DAB+, FM, CD, USB, Bluetooth, AUX.
6.3 DAB+ Radio Operation
- Select DAB+ mode using the FUNCTION/MODE button.
- The unit will automatically scan for available DAB+ stations upon first use or if no stations are found.
- Use the SKIP/SEARCH buttons to navigate through the list of available stations.
- Press ENTER to select a station.
6.4 FM Radio Operation
- Select FM mode using the FUNCTION/MODE button.
- Press and hold the SKIP/SEARCH buttons to automatically scan for the next available station.
- Press the SKIP/SEARCH buttons briefly to manually tune the frequency step by step.
6.5 CD/MP3 Playback
- Open the CD compartment cover.
- Place a CD or MP3 CD onto the spindle with the label side facing up.
- Close the CD compartment cover.
- Select CD mode using the FUNCTION/MODE button.
- Playback will start automatically. Use PLAY/PAUSE and SKIP/SEARCH buttons to control playback.
6.6 Cassette Playback
- Open the cassette compartment door.
- Insert a cassette tape.
- Close the cassette compartment door.
- Select TAPE mode (if available, otherwise ensure no other media is playing).
- Use the cassette player controls (Play, Stop, Fast Forward, Rewind) to operate.
6.7 Bluetooth Pairing
- Select Bluetooth mode using the FUNCTION/MODE button. The display will show "BT" or "PAIRING".

- Select "SCD-6900" from the list of devices.

6.8 USB Playback
