5. Setup

5.1 Placement

Place the mini fridge on a flat, stable surface. Ensure there is at least 10 cm (4 inches) of clearance around all sides of the unit, especially the rear, for proper ventilation. Avoid placing it near heat sources or in direct sunlight.

5.2 Power Connection

The Homdox Mini Fridge supports both AC and DC power inputs.

Important: Do not connect both AC and DC power simultaneously. Only use one power source at a time.

6. Operating Instructions

6.1 Powering On/Off and Mode Selection

Once connected to a power source, the unit will power on. For models with a digital display, use the one-touch button on the control panel to switch between cooling and warming modes. The display will indicate the current internal temperature or mode.

6.2 Cooling Mode

In cooling mode, the fridge can cool items to 20-25°C (36-45°F) below the ambient temperature. For best results, pre-chill items before placing them in the fridge. The cooling process may take several hours to reach its optimal temperature.

6.3 Warming Mode

In warming mode, the fridge can heat items up to approximately 65°C (149°F). This is suitable for keeping food warm or heating baby bottles. Allow time for the unit to reach the desired warming temperature.

6.4 Adjusting Shelves

The internal shelves are removable and adjustable to accommodate items of different sizes. Gently slide the shelves out of their slots and reposition them as needed. The door also features a small storage basket for smaller items.

The mini fridge operates at a low noise level, typically around 28dB, making it suitable for bedrooms, offices, or other quiet environments.

Regularly check that the rear cooling fans and vents are free from dust and obstructions to ensure efficient operation. Use a soft brush or vacuum cleaner to gently remove any accumulated dust.
