Components:

5. Setup

5.1 Charging the Device

Before first use, fully charge the DIGITEK LED-D135 ML.

  1. Locate the Type-C input port on the side of the light.
  2. Connect the provided Type-C charging cable to the light.
  3. Connect the other end of the cable to a compatible USB power source (e.g., USB adapter, power bank, laptop USB port).
  4. The OLED display will indicate the charging status. A full charge typically takes a few hours.

5.2 Mounting the Light

The LED-D135 ML features a standard 1/4-inch screw mount for easy attachment.

  1. Locate the 1/4-inch screw hole at the bottom of the light.
  2. Attach the light to a compatible tripod, light stand, camera hot shoe adapter, or other mounting accessories.
  3. Ensure the light is securely fastened before use.

6. Operating Instructions

6.1 Power On/Off

  • To turn on the light, press and hold the Power Button until the OLED display illuminates.
  • To turn off the light, press and hold the Power Button again until the display turns off.

6.2 Mode Selection

Press the Mode Button (M) to cycle through the available lighting modes:

  • CCT Mode (Correlated Color Temperature): Adjusts white light from warm to cool.
  • HSI Mode (Hue, Saturation, Intensity): Provides full 360° color control.
  • Scene Mode: Accesses pre-programmed lighting effects.

6.3 Adjusting Brightness

In any mode, use the Brightness Control (+/-) buttons to increase or decrease the light intensity from 0% to 100%. The OLED display will show the current brightness level.

6.4 CCT Mode Operation

In CCT mode, you can adjust the color temperature.

  1. Select CCT mode using the Mode Button (M).
  2. Use the RGB Color Control (+/-) buttons to adjust the color temperature between 3200K (warm) and 5600K (cool).
  3. Adjust brightness using the Brightness Control (+/-) buttons.

6.5 HSI Mode Operation

HSI mode allows for full-color spectrum control.

  1. Select HSI mode using the Mode Button (M).
  2. Press the Select Button to switch between Hue (H) and Saturation (S) adjustment.
  3. Use the RGB Color Control (+/-) buttons to adjust the Hue (0-360°) or Saturation (0-100%).
  4. Adjust brightness using the Brightness Control (+/-) buttons.

6.6 Scene Mode Operation

Scene mode offers 21 pre-programmed lighting effects for creative scenarios.

  1. Select Scene mode using the Mode Button (M).
  2. Use the RGB Color Control (+/-) buttons to cycle through the 21 available scene effects.
  3. Adjust brightness using the Brightness Control (+/-) buttons.

6.7 Using the USB 5V Output Port

The light can also function as a power bank for small devices.

  • Connect your smartphone or other digital gadget to the USB 5V Output Port using an appropriate USB cable.
  • The light's internal battery will provide power to charge the connected device.
  • Note: Using the output port will consume the light's battery and reduce its operating time.

7. Maintenance

7.1 Cleaning

  • Ensure the device is turned off and disconnected from any power source before cleaning.
  • Wipe the exterior with a soft, dry cloth.
  • Do not use harsh chemicals, solvents, or abrasive cleaners.

7.2 Storage

  • Store the light in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
  • If storing for an extended period, charge the battery to approximately 50% every three months to maintain battery health.

7.3 Battery Care

  • The device contains a built-in lithium polymer battery. Do not attempt to replace it yourself.
  • Avoid fully discharging the battery frequently, as this can reduce its lifespan.
  • If the battery shows signs of swelling or damage, discontinue use immediately and contact customer support.

8. Troubleshooting
