Note: It is recommended to format the memory card within the dash cam's settings menu before first use and periodically thereafter to ensure stable recording.

4.2. Mounting the Dash Cam

  1. Clean the desired area on your windshield thoroughly to ensure a strong suction.
  2. Attach the suction bracket to the windshield by pressing firmly and flipping the lever to secure it.
  3. Slide the dash cam onto the car holder of the suction bracket until it locks into place.
  4. Adjust the camera angle to ensure a clear view of the road ahead, avoiding obstruction from the rearview mirror or sun visor.

4.3. Power Connection

  1. Connect the small end of the car charger cable to the USB port on the dash cam.
  2. Plug the larger end of the car charger into your vehicle's 12V power outlet (cigarette lighter socket).
  3. Route the cable neatly along the windshield and dashboard to avoid interference with driving.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1. Automatic Power On/Off

When connected to the car charger, the dash cam will automatically power on and begin recording when your vehicle starts. It will automatically power off a few seconds after your vehicle is turned off.

5.2. Manual Power On/Off

To manually power on the device, press and hold the Power button. To manually power off, press and hold the Power button again.

5.3. Recording Modes

  • Video Recording: The default mode. The dash cam continuously records video in segments (e.g., 1, 3, or 5 minutes) as set in the menu.
  • Photo Mode: Press the Mode button to switch to photo mode. Press the OK button to take a still picture.
  • Playback Mode: Press the Mode button to switch to playback mode. Use the UP/DOWN buttons to browse recorded videos or photos, and press OK to play/view.

5.4. Loop Recording

The dash cam supports seamless loop recording. When the memory card is full, the oldest unlocked video files will be automatically overwritten to make space for new recordings. This ensures continuous recording without manual intervention.

5.5. G-Sensor (Emergency Lock)

The built-in G-sensor detects sudden impacts or rapid acceleration/deceleration. When triggered, the current video segment is automatically locked and saved to a protected folder, preventing it from being overwritten by loop recording. The sensitivity of the G-sensor can be adjusted in the settings menu.

You can also manually lock a recording by pressing the Emergency Lock button during recording.

5.6. Super Night Vision

The dash cam is equipped with super night vision technology, enhancing clarity and detail in low-light conditions, ensuring clear recordings even at night.

5.7. Motion Detection

When enabled in the settings, the dash cam will automatically start recording if it detects motion in its field of view while the vehicle is parked. This feature requires continuous power supply (e.g., via a hardwire kit, not included) to function when the vehicle is off.

6. Settings Menu

To access the settings menu, press the Menu button. Use the UP and DOWN buttons to navigate through the options, and press the OK button to select or confirm a setting. Press Menu again to exit the settings.

Common Settings:

  • Resolution: Adjust video recording quality (e.g., 1080P, 720P).

  • Periodically format the Micro-SD card (e.g., once a month) using the dash cam's menu to prevent data corruption and maintain optimal recording performance.
  • Avoid removing the memory card while the device is powered on or recording to prevent data loss or card damage.

7.3. Storage

When not in use for extended periods, store the dash cam in a cool, dry environment, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.

8. Troubleshooting

If you encounter issues with your dash cam, please refer to the following common problems and solutions:

ProblemPossible Cause / Solution
Dash cam not turning on
  • Ensure the car charger is securely plugged into both the dash cam and the vehicle's 12V power outlet.
  • Check if the vehicle's power outlet is functional.
  • Verify the USB cable is not damaged.
Recording issues (freezing, audio only, corrupted files)
  • Ensure you are using a Class 10 Micro-SD card. Lower class cards may not support 1080P recording speeds.
  • Format the memory card using the dash cam's settings menu.
  • Try a different, known-good Class 10 Micro-SD card. The current card may be faulty.
Dash cam falling off windshield
  • Ensure the windshield surface and the suction cup are clean and dry before mounting.
  • Apply firm pressure to the suction cup and engage the locking lever.
  • Avoid mounting on textured or dirty surfaces.
Poor video quality
  • Clean the camera lens with a soft cloth.
  • Check the video resolution setting in the menu; ensure it is set to 1080P for best quality.
  • Ensure the protective film has been removed from the lens.
Dash cam does not stay on after car is off
  • This is normal behavior. The dash cam is designed to power off with the vehicle to prevent draining the car battery.
  • For parking monitoring, a continuous power supply (e.g., hardwire kit) is typically required.
