Maintenance

  • Cleaning the Lens: Use a soft, lint-free cloth specifically designed for optical lenses to gently wipe the magnifying glass. Do not use abrasive cleaners or harsh chemicals, as these can damage the lens coating.
  • Cleaning the Lamp Body: Wipe the lamp's exterior with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid using excessive moisture or harsh cleaning agents.
  • Storage: Store the lamp in a clean, dry environment. Always ensure the protective cap is on the lens when storing to maintain its clarity.

Troubleshooting

  • Lamp Does Not Turn On:
    • Check if the power plug is securely inserted into the electrical outlet.
    • Verify that the power outlet is functional.
    • Ensure the power switch on the lamp base is in the "On" position.
  • Light Flickers or is Dim:
    • Check the power connection for any loose contacts.
    • If the issue persists, contact customer support. The LEDs have a long lifespan (approx. 25,000 hours) and are not user-replaceable.
  • Magnified Image is Unclear:
    • Adjust the distance between the magnifying lens and the object. The optimal focal distance is crucial for clear magnification.
    • Ensure the lens is clean and free of dust or smudges. Refer to the "Maintenance" section for cleaning instructions.
