5. Installation

5.1 Physical Installation

5.2 Wiring Diagram

• Power Cable: Connect to vehicle's power supply (constant 12V, accessory 12V, and ground).
• Horn Cable: Connect as per vehicle specifications.
• Microphone Input: Plug in the external microphone for clear hands-free calls.
• Video Input/Output: For external video sources or monitors.
• Audio Output (RCA): For connecting to external amplifiers.
• Rear View Camera Input: Connect the included backup camera. The pink wire labeled "BACK" should be connected to the vehicle's reverse light positive (+) for automatic switching.

6. Operation

6.1 Basic Controls

The unit is primarily controlled via its 9-inch capacitive touch screen. Physical buttons on the side provide quick access to essential functions like volume, home, and power.

6.2 Apple CarPlay & Android Auto

Connect your iPhone or Android smartphone to the stereo via a USB cable. The system will automatically launch Apple CarPlay or Android Auto, allowing you to access navigation, music, messages, and make calls using the stereo's interface or voice commands.

6.3 Bluetooth Connectivity

To pair your device:

1. Go to the Bluetooth menu on the stereo.
2. Enable Bluetooth on your smartphone and search for available devices.
3. Select "UNITOPSCI" (or similar name) from the list on your phone.
4. Confirm the pairing code if prompted.

Once paired, you can make hands-free calls and stream audio wirelessly.

6.4 FM/AM Radio

Access the Radio application from the main menu. You can manually tune to stations or use the auto-scan function to find and save available stations. Up to 30 preset stations can be stored.

6.6 USB Playback & Charging
