Setup Instructions
- Charge the Lights: Before first use, fully charge each LED light using the provided USB charging cable. The charging port is located on the side of the light. A red indicator light typically signifies charging, turning green or off when fully charged.
- Prepare Mounting Surface: Ensure the desired installation surface is clean, dry, and smooth.
- Attach Magnetic Plates (for non-metal surfaces):
- Peel off the protective film from one side of the 3M adhesive on the magnetic plate.
- Firmly press the adhesive side of the magnetic plate onto the desired installation location.
- Repeat for all lights.
- Mount the Lights:
- If installing on a metal surface, simply attach the light directly as it has a built-in strong magnet.
- If using magnetic plates, align the magnets on the back of the LED light with the installed magnetic plates and gently attach. The lights are easily detachable for recharging.
Operating Instructions
The BLS T36-3 LED Closet Light features a slide switch with multiple operating modes:
- OFF: Power off the light.
- AUTO NIGHT (Moon Icon): Motion sensor mode. The light will only turn on when it detects motion in dark or very dim conditions. Ideal for bedrooms, hallways, or basements at night.
- AUTO DAY & NIGHT (Sun Icon): Motion sensor mode. The light will turn on when it detects motion, regardless of ambient light conditions (day or night). Suitable for closets, cabinets, or under-cabinet lighting where light is needed at all times.
- ON: The light remains continuously on, regardless of motion or ambient light.
The BLS Constant-Sense technology ensures the light stays illuminated as long as motion is detected nearby, automatically turning off approximately 15 seconds after motion ceases.
Maintenance
- Charging: When the light dims or stops responding, it indicates a low battery. Detach the light from its mounting, connect the provided USB cable to the charging port, and plug it into a USB power source. A red indicator light typically signifies charging, turning green or off when fully charged.
- Cleaning: Wipe the light's surface with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid using abrasive cleaners or solvents that may damage the finish or electronic components.
- Storage: If storing the lights for an extended period, ensure they are fully charged and stored in a cool, dry place. Recharge periodically to maintain battery health.
