1. Product Overview
The FULAIM WM500 is a professional UHF wireless microphone system designed for high-quality audio capture in various scenarios, including interviews, vlogging, live streaming, and conference recording. It features advanced UHF radio wave technology and a dual-antenna design for stable signal transmission and enhanced anti-interference capabilities. The system includes a receiver and four transmitters, allowing for multi-person recording simultaneously.

3. Component Identification

4. Setup Guide
4.1 Charging the Units
Before first use, fully charge the receiver and all transmitters. Use the provided multi-head USB charging cable to charge multiple units simultaneously.
- Connect the USB charging cable to a 5V/1A or 5V/2A USB power adapter (not included).
- Plug the Micro USB connectors into the charging ports (9) on the transmitters and receiver.
- The red charging indicator light (3) will illuminate during charging.
- The red indicator light will turn off when the unit is fully charged (approximately 2.5 hours).
4.2 Connecting to Recording Devices
The FULAIM WM500 system offers wide compatibility with various recording devices. Select the appropriate cable for your device:

- DSLR Cameras/Camcorders: Use the provided TRS cable (3.5mm to 3.5mm) to connect the receiver's audio output (1) to your camera's microphone input. For devices with XLR inputs, use the provided XLR cable.
- Smartphones (iPhone/Android): Use the provided TRRS cable (3.5mm to 3.5mm) to connect the receiver's audio output (1) to your smartphone's headphone/microphone jack. Note: iPhones may require a 3.5mm to Lightning adapter, and some Android smartphones with USB-C ports may require a 3.5mm to USB-C adapter (adapters not included).
- PCs/Laptops: Use the provided TRS cable (3.5mm to 3.5mm) to connect the receiver's audio output (1) to your computer's microphone input.
Mount the receiver onto your camera's hot shoe using the cold shoe assembly if applicable.
5. Operating Instructions
5.1 Power On/Off
To power on or off both the transmitter and receiver, long press the power button (6) for 2 seconds. The information display (5) will light up.
5.2 Channel Selection and Pairing
The WM500 system supports 12 selectable UHF channels per transmitter, allowing for flexible channel matching and interference avoidance. Each transmitter can be paired with the receiver on a different channel.
- Ensure both the transmitter and receiver are powered on.
- On the transmitter, press the settings button (8) to cycle through available channels.
- The receiver's display will show the connection quality and battery status for each paired transmitter.
- If interference occurs, change the channel on the transmitter until a clear signal is established. The operating range is up to 50 meters in open areas.

5.3 Noise Reduction (LCF)
The WM500 features built-in WNCR acoustic noise reduction technology. To activate the low-cut filter (LCF) function and reduce environmental and wind noise, slide the noise reduction switch (7) on the transmitter to the 'LCF' position.

5.4 Real-time Audio Monitoring
To monitor your audio in real-time during recording, connect your headphones to the 3.5mm headphone output socket (4) on the receiver. This allows you to check the audio status and ensure optimal sound quality.

6. Maintenance and Care
To ensure the longevity and optimal performance of your FULAIM WM500 system, follow these maintenance guidelines:
- Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the units. Do not use harsh chemicals, cleaning solvents, or strong detergents.
- Storage: Store the system in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. Use the provided aluminum carrying case for protection during transport and storage.
- Battery Care: For optimal battery life, avoid fully discharging the batteries frequently. If storing for an extended period, charge the units to about 50% every three months.
- Handling: Handle the units with care. Avoid dropping or subjecting them to strong impacts, which can damage internal components.
