4. Setup and First Use
4.1 Unpacking
Carefully remove all packaging materials and labels from the appliance. Keep packaging for future storage or disposal.
4.2 Filling the Water Tank

4.3 Power Connection
Plug the power cord into a suitable grounded electrical outlet (240 Volts, 2400 Watts). The power indicator light will illuminate.
5. Operating Instructions
5.1 Powering On and Heating Up
Press the power button on the base unit. The iron will begin to heat up. Wait for the indicator light to stop flashing, indicating that the iron has reached the selected temperature and is ready for use.
5.2 Selecting Ironing Modes
The CareStyle 3 features an intuitive iMode interface with four distinct settings:
- iCare Mode: This intelligent mode automatically sets a safe temperature for all types of fabrics, providing smart textile protection. It is the default and recommended setting for most garments.
- Eco Mode: Ideal for delicate fabrics and for energy saving. This mode provides gentle steam and a lower temperature. The anti-drip system ensures no water leakage even at low temperatures.

6. Care and Maintenance
6.1 Easy CalcClean System (Descaling)
The Easy CalcClean system is designed to protect your steam generator iron from limescale buildup, ensuring a longer lifespan and consistent steam performance. The appliance will indicate when descaling is needed.
- Ensure the iron is cool and unplugged.
- Place the CalcClean tray (if provided, or a suitable container) under the CalcClean valve.
- Press and hold the CalcClean button for approximately 2 minutes until the process is complete. The appliance will automatically flush out scale particles.
- Once complete, empty the CalcClean tray and rinse it.
Perform this process regularly as indicated by the appliance or based on your water hardness to maintain optimal performance.
6.2 Cleaning the Soleplate
