Setup

  1. Unpacking: Carefully remove all components from the packaging.
  2. Placement: Place the DD80 unit on a stable, flat surface.
  3. Connect Pedals:
    • Connect the Kick Pedal cable to the "KICK PEDAL" input on the rear of the DD80 unit.
    • Connect the Hi-Hat Pedal cable to the "HI-HAT PEDAL" input on the rear of the DD80 unit.

  4. Connect Headphones (Optional): If using headphones for private practice, connect the SubZero headphones to the "PHONES" output.
  5. Connect External Audio (Optional): To play along with external audio, connect your device (e.g., smartphone, MP3 player) to the "AUX IN" input using a 3.5mm audio cable.
  6. Connect Power: Connect the power adapter to the "12V DC" input on the rear of the DD80 unit, then plug the adapter into a suitable power outlet.
  7. Power On: Press the power button (usually located on the control panel) to turn on the unit.

Playing the DD80

The DD80 features 7 touch-sensitive pads that respond to your playing dynamics. Use the included drum sticks to strike the pads. The two foot pedals control the kick drum and hi-hat functions.

The DD80 offers 270 drum and percussion sounds and 45 preset kits. You can also create and save up to 10 user presets.
