1. Introduction
Thank you for choosing the Teesa Water Filter Pitcher TSA0102. This manual provides essential information for the safe and efficient use of your new water filter pitcher. Please read these instructions carefully before first use and keep them for future reference. This pitcher is designed to filter tap water, improving its taste and reducing certain impurities. It features a total volume of 3.8 liters and a filtered water capacity of 2.4 liters, made from BPA-free ABS and AS materials.
2. Package Contents
Please check the package contents upon unboxing. Ensure all items listed below are present and undamaged:
- 1 x Teesa Water Filter Pitcher (3.8 L)
- 2 x Water Filter Cartridges
3. Setup
3.1 Initial Cleaning
Before first use, wash the pitcher (excluding the electronic indicator on the lid) with warm soapy water. Rinse thoroughly with clean water. Do not wash the lid with the electronic indicator in a dishwasher or submerge it in water.
3.2 Filter Preparation
- Unpack a new filter cartridge.
- Submerge the filter cartridge completely in cold water for approximately 15 minutes. Gently shake it to remove any air bubbles. This step is crucial for optimal filter performance.
3.3 Filter Installation
- Open the lid of the pitcher.
- Insert the prepared filter cartridge firmly into the designated opening in the inner reservoir until it sits securely.

3.4 Initial Filtration
Fill the pitcher with tap water. Allow the water to filter through. For the first two fillings, discard the filtered water. This helps to flush out any loose carbon particles from the new filter. The third filling is ready for consumption.
4. Operating Instructions
4.1 Filling the Pitcher
To fill the pitcher, simply lift the flip-up lid on the top of the main lid and pour tap water into the reservoir. The water will automatically flow through the filter cartridge into the main pitcher body.
4.2 Electronic Filter Indicator
The pitcher is equipped with an electronic indicator to remind you when to replace the filter. To activate or reset the indicator, press and hold the "START" button on the lid for a few seconds until the display shows 100% or a full bar. The indicator will gradually decrease as the filter's lifespan diminishes. Replace the filter when the indicator shows 0% or an empty bar.

5. Maintenance
5.1 Cleaning the Pitcher
Regularly clean the pitcher (excluding the lid with the electronic indicator) with warm soapy water. Rinse thoroughly and dry. Do not use abrasive cleaners or scourers. The lid with the electronic indicator should only be wiped clean with a damp cloth; do not submerge it in water or place it in a dishwasher.
5.2 Filter Replacement
Replace the filter cartridge when the electronic indicator shows 0% or approximately every 4 weeks, depending on water hardness and consumption. Follow the steps in Section 3.2 and 3.3 for preparing and installing a new filter. Remember to reset the electronic indicator after replacing the filter (Section 4.2).
6. Troubleshooting
- Slow Filtration: This can occur if the filter is clogged or if air bubbles are trapped. Ensure the filter was properly pre-soaked (Section 3.2). If the issue persists, the filter may need replacement.
- Water Taste/Odor: If the filtered water has an unusual taste or odor, ensure the filter was properly prepared and installed. If the filter is old, replace it.
- Electronic Indicator Not Working: Check if the battery is depleted (if applicable, though this model typically has a sealed unit). Try resetting the indicator by pressing and holding the "START" button. If it still doesn't respond, contact customer support.
- Water Leaks: Ensure the filter cartridge is securely seated in the reservoir and the lid is properly closed.
