4. Maintenance
Proper care and maintenance will extend the lifespan of your speaker.
4.1 Water Resistance (IPX7)
The speaker is rated IPX7, meaning it can be immersed in water up to 1 meter (3 feet) for up to 30 minutes. This makes it suitable for use near pools, at the beach, or in rainy conditions.
- Always ensure the rubber flap covering the charging port and any other ports is securely closed before exposing the speaker to water.
- Do not intentionally submerge the speaker for extended periods or beyond the specified depth.
- After exposure to saltwater or chlorinated water, rinse the speaker with fresh water and dry thoroughly before charging or using.
- The microphone's voice isolation feature does not work underwater.
4.2 Cleaning
- Wipe the speaker with a soft, damp cloth.
- Do not use abrasive cleaners, alcohol, or chemical solvents, as these may damage the surface or internal components.
- Ensure the speaker is completely dry before charging.
4.3 Storage
- Store the speaker in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
- If storing for an extended period, charge the battery to approximately 50% every few months to maintain battery health.
