Safety Information

Installation Guide
1. Pre-Installation Checklist
- Confirm you have a neutral wire in your wall box.
- Ensure your Wi-Fi network is 2.4 GHz.
- Verify that the bulbs you intend to use are dimmable.
- Gather necessary tools: screwdriver, wire strippers, voltage tester.
2. Wiring Instructions
- Turn Off Power: Locate your circuit breaker and turn off the power to the switch you are replacing. Verify power is off using a voltage tester.
- Remove Old Switch: Carefully remove the existing switch from the wall box. Disconnect the wires.
- Identify Wires: Identify the Line (Live), Load, Neutral, and Ground wires from your wall box.

- Connect the Red wire from the switch to the Load wire.
- Connect the Green wire from the switch to the Ground wire.
- Connect the Black wire from the switch to the Line wire.
- Connect the White wire from the switch to the Neutral wire.
- Mount Switch: Gently push the wired switch into the wall box and secure it with screws. Attach the wall plate.
- Restore Power: Turn the power back on at the circuit breaker. The Wi-Fi indicator on the switch should begin blinking.
3. App Setup and Pairing
To enable smart features, download the Smart Life or Tuya Smart app and pair your device.
- Download App: Search for "Smart Life" or "Tuya Smart" in your mobile app store (iOS or Android) and download the application.
- Register/Login: Open the app and register for a new account or log in if you already have one.
- Add Device: Tap the "+" icon in the top right corner of the app to add a new device. Select "Switch (Wi-Fi)" from the device list.
- Connect to Wi-Fi: Enter your 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi network name and password. Ensure your phone is connected to the same 2.4 GHz network.
- Initiate Pairing Mode:
- Fast Blinking Mode (EZ Mode): Hold the switch's ON/OFF button for 5 seconds until the indicator blinks rapidly. This is the default pairing mode.
- Slow Blinking Mode (AP Mode): If EZ mode fails, press the ON/OFF button again for 7-10 seconds until the Wi-Fi indicator blinks slowly. This mode creates a local Wi-Fi hotspot for direct connection.
- Confirm Indicator Status: In the app, confirm that the indicator light on your switch is blinking rapidly or slowly, matching your chosen pairing mode.
- Complete Pairing: Follow the on-screen instructions in the app to complete the pairing process. Once successful, the Wi-Fi indicator on the switch will turn solid blue.

Operating Instructions
1. Manual Control
- Turn On/Off: Press the main ON/OFF button (circular button in the middle) to toggle the light on or off.
- Adjust Brightness: Use the "Brightness +" and "Brightness -" buttons to increase or decrease the light intensity. The brightness level indicator will show the current setting.
2. Voice Control (Alexa & Google Assistant)
Once paired with the Smart Life or Tuya Smart app, you can link your account to Amazon Alexa or Google Assistant for voice commands.
