3.3. Filter Flushing (Priming)
Before first use, filters must be flushed to remove any loose carbon particles.
- Screw down the wing nut on the filter base until the height of the priming washer can be attached.
- Press the priming washer onto the spigot and align it with the cold water outlet of your faucet.
- Turn on the cold water to flush the filter for 60 seconds. Repeat for all filters.
3.4. Filter Installation
- Remove the wing nut and filter washer from the carbon filter's threaded rod.
- Insert the carbon filter's threaded rod into the holes in the upper chamber, with the filter entering into the same chamber.
- Gently thread the filter washer and wing nut onto the threaded rod just below the upper chamber. Tighten manually with your hand.
- Repeat for all filters (2 carbon, 2 fluoride). The system has two installation holes for carbon filters and two for fluoride filters.

4. Operating Instructions
4.1. Filling the System
Pour untreated water into the upper chamber. The water will gravity-feed through the filters into the lower chamber. The filtration process is efficient and does not require power.
4.2. Dispensing Water
Use the metallic water level spigot on the lower chamber to dispense filtered water. The spigot is designed for leak-proof performance and easy operation.

4.3. Initial Water Discard
For the first two full batches of filtered water, it is recommended to discard the water. This helps to ensure any residual manufacturing dust or loose carbon fines are flushed from the system, preparing it for optimal use.
5. Maintenance
5.1. Filter Lifespan & Replacement
- Carbon Filters (Black): Effectively filter up to 6,000 gallons of water.
- Fluoride Filters (White): Effectively filter up to 1,000 gallons of water.
Replace filters according to their recommended lifespan or if you notice a decrease in water flow or a change in water taste/odor. Replacement instructions are similar to initial installation.
5.2. Cleaning the System
The 304 food-grade stainless steel chambers are easy to clean. Periodically wipe down the exterior with a soft cloth. For interior cleaning, disassemble the system and wash the chambers with mild soap and water. Rinse thoroughly before reassembly.
6. Troubleshooting
- Slow Filtration: Ensure filters are properly primed and not clogged. If flow remains slow after cleaning, filters may need replacement.
- Leaks: Check all connections, especially the spigot and filter wing nuts, to ensure they are securely tightened. Ensure all washers and gaskets are correctly seated.
- Unusual Taste or Odor: Re-flush the filters. If the issue persists, filters may be exhausted and require replacement.
- Water Level Indicator Not Working: Check for any obstructions in the clear tube. Ensure the tube is securely attached and free from damage.
