1. Introduction

The Einhell GE-CM 36-Volt Cordless 15-Inch Walk Behind Push Lawn Mower is designed for efficient and convenient lawn care. Powered by the versatile Power X-Change battery system, this mower offers freedom from cords and provides excellent maneuverability. Its features include a 6-position height adjustment, an adjustable handle for user comfort, and an 11.9-gallon capacity collection bag. This manual will guide you through the assembly, operation, and maintenance of your new lawn mower.

3. Setup

3.1 Unpacking and Initial Inspection

Carefully remove all components from the packaging. Ensure all parts are present and undamaged. Refer to the packing list for a complete overview of included items.

3.2 Handle Assembly

Attach the handle sections to the main mower body. Ensure all connections are secure. The handle is designed to be height-adjustable for ergonomic use and foldable for compact storage.

3.3 Grass Collection Bag Attachment

Assemble the grass collection bag and securely attach it to the rear of the mower. The bag features a filling indicator to show when it needs emptying.

3.4 Battery Charging and Installation

Before first use, fully charge both 4.0 Ah Lithium-Ion batteries using the included Dualport Fast Charger. Insert the charged batteries into the designated battery compartments on the mower. Ensure they click securely into place.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1 Adjusting Cutting Height

The mower offers a central cutting height adjustment with 6 levels, ranging from 1 inch to 3 inches. Select the desired cutting height by using the lever located on the side of the mower. For best results, avoid cutting more than one-third of the grass blade length at a time.

4.2 Starting and Mowing

To start the mower, press the safety button and pull the bail switch towards the handle. Release the safety button while holding the bail switch. To stop, release the bail switch. Guide the mower across your lawn in overlapping passes. The integrated grass comb allows for trimming right to the edge of your lawn.

4.3 Battery Life and Coverage

The two 4.0 Ah batteries are designed to mow up to 4305 sq ft on a single charge, depending on grass conditions and cutting height. Monitor the battery charge indicators on the batteries to ensure sufficient power for your task.

5.1 Cleaning

After each use, disconnect the batteries and clean the mower deck and grass collection bag. Remove any grass clippings or debris from the blade area and ventilation slots. Use a damp cloth for cleaning; do not use high-pressure water or harsh chemicals.

5.2 Blade Care

Regularly inspect the cutting blade for sharpness and damage. A dull or damaged blade can affect cutting performance and battery life. If necessary, have the blade sharpened or replaced by a qualified service technician.

5.3 Storage

For space-saving storage, fold down the handle. Store the mower in a dry, secure location, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. Ensure batteries are stored in a cool, dry place and charged periodically if not in regular use.

6. Troubleshooting

• Mower does not start: Ensure batteries are fully charged and correctly inserted. Check that the safety button and bail switch are engaged simultaneously.
• Reduced cutting performance: The blade may be dull or damaged. Check the cutting height setting; it might be too low for the current grass conditions.
• Excessive vibration: This could indicate a damaged or unbalanced blade. Discontinue use immediately and inspect the blade.
• Handle feels loose: Ensure all handle assembly fasteners are tightened securely.
