8. Troubleshooting

  • No Sound/Poor Sound Quality:
    • Ensure both units are powered on and within range.
    • Adjust the volume on the Parent Unit.
    • Check for interference from other electronic devices. Move units further apart from other electronics.
  • Units Not Connecting:
    • Ensure both units are fully charged or plugged in.
    • Power both units off and then on again.
    • Move the Parent Unit closer to the Baby Unit.
  • Temperature Alarm Sounds Constantly:
    • Check the actual room temperature. If it's outside 60.8°F - 86°F, adjust the room's climate.
    • Ensure the Baby Unit is not placed near a heat source or in direct sunlight, which could skew temperature readings.
  • Parent Unit Battery Not Charging/Holding Charge:
    • Ensure the Type-C cable is securely connected to both the Parent Unit and the power source.
    • Try a different Type-C cable or USB power adapter.
    • If the battery life has significantly decreased over time, it may be reaching the end of its lifespan.
  • Limited Range:
    • Obstacles like thick walls, metal structures, and other electronic devices can reduce range. Try repositioning the units.
    • Ensure no other devices are operating on similar frequencies nearby.
