3. Safety Instructions

  • Do not exceed the maximum power rating of the power strip.
  • Avoid using high-wattage appliances (e.g., heaters, microwaves) with this surge protector.
  • Ensure the power strip is plugged directly into a wall outlet, not into another extension cord or power strip.
  • Do not disassemble or modify the power strip.
  • Keep away from water and moist environments.
  • This product is designed for indoor use only.
  • The built-in overload protection switch will automatically trip to cut power if an overload occurs. Reset by pressing the switch.

4. Setup

  1. Unpack the SMALLRT Power Strip Tower and ensure all components are present.
  2. Place the power strip on a stable, flat surface. The non-slip mats on the base help secure it.
  3. Plug the power strip's main cord directly into a grounded wall outlet.
  4. Press the main power button on top of the tower to activate the unit.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Using AC Outlets

The power strip features 12 widely spaced AC outlets distributed across its four sides. Each side (or zone) has an independent on/off switch located at the top of that section. Press the switch to turn power on or off for the three outlets on that specific side.

5.2 Using USB Charging Ports

The base of the tower includes 3 USB-A ports and 1 USB-C port for charging your mobile devices. Simply connect your device's charging cable to the appropriate USB port. The smart USB technology will detect your device and deliver optimal charging speed.

5.3 Overload Protection

The power strip is equipped with an overload protection switch (typically a red button/switch at the base). If the total power draw from connected devices exceeds the maximum rating, this switch will automatically trip, cutting power to prevent damage. To restore power, unplug some devices, then press the reset switch.

6. Maintenance

  • Keep the power strip clean and free from dust. Use a dry, soft cloth for cleaning.
  • Do not use liquid cleaners or aerosols.
  • Ensure proper ventilation around the unit to prevent overheating.
  • Regularly inspect the power cord for any signs of damage. If damaged, discontinue use immediately.

7. Troubleshooting

7.1 No Power to Outlets/USB Ports

  • Check if the main power button on top of the tower is pressed.
  • Verify that the individual zone switches are in the 'ON' position.
  • Check the overload protection switch at the base. If it has popped out, reduce the load by unplugging some devices and then press it to reset.
  • Ensure the power strip's main plug is securely inserted into a working wall outlet.

7.2 Slow Charging via USB

  • Ensure you are using a high-quality USB cable.
  • Check if your device supports faster charging and if the USB-C port (PD 15W) is being utilized for compatible devices.
  • Avoid charging too many high-power devices simultaneously, as this can affect overall charging speed.
