4. Setup
Attaching Sandpaper
- Ensure the sander is unplugged from the power source.
- Release the paper clamps on both ends of the sanding base.
- Insert one end of the sandpaper under the front clamp and secure it.
- Pull the sandpaper taut over the sanding base and secure the other end under the rear clamp. Ensure the sandpaper is flat and wrinkle-free.
- Select the appropriate grit sandpaper for your task. Coarser grits (e.g., 80) are for material removal, finer grits for finishing.
Connecting to Power

5. Operating
Starting the Sander
- Hold the sander firmly with both hands.
- Place the sanding base flat on the workpiece.

Sanding Technique
- Apply light, even pressure. Let the sander do the work. Excessive pressure can reduce efficiency and damage the motor.
- Move the sander in long, overlapping strokes, following the grain of the wood when applicable.
- Avoid tilting the sander, as this can create uneven surfaces.
- For optimal dust collection, ensure the dust collection port is clear and, if applicable, connected to a dust bag or vacuum system.
Stopping the Sander
Lift the sander from the workpiece and then release the power switch to turn it OFF.
