4. Setup

Attaching Sandpaper

1. Ensure the sander is unplugged from the power source.
2. Release the paper clamps on both ends of the sanding base.
3. Insert one end of the sandpaper under the front clamp and secure it.
4. Pull the sandpaper taut over the sanding base and secure the other end under the rear clamp. Ensure the sandpaper is flat and wrinkle-free.
5. Select the appropriate grit sandpaper for your task. Coarser grits (e.g., 80) are for material removal, finer grits for finishing.

Sanding Technique

• Move the sander in long, overlapping strokes, following the grain of the wood when applicable.
• Avoid tilting the sander, as this can create uneven surfaces.
