Setup and Installation

Follow these steps carefully for a secure installation. It is recommended to have at least two people for TV mounting.

Step 1: Attach TV Brackets to TV

  1. Carefully place your TV face-down on a soft, clean surface to prevent screen damage.
  2. Identify the correct screws (M4, M5, M6, M8) and washers from the hardware kit that fit your TV's VESA mounting holes.
  3. Attach the two vertical TV brackets to the back of your TV using the selected screws and washers. Ensure the hooks on the brackets face upwards and are securely tightened. The brackets should be positioned to allow for tilt adjustment.

Step 2: Mount Wall Plate to Wall

  1. Determine the desired height for your TV. Mark the location for the wall plate.
  2. For wood stud installation: Use a stud finder to locate the center of your wood studs. Mark the drilling points. Drill pilot holes (recommended size specified in hardware kit) into the center of the studs. Secure the wall plate to the studs using the provided lag bolts and washers.
  3. For solid concrete wall installation: Mark the drilling points. Drill pilot holes (recommended size specified in hardware kit) into the concrete. Insert concrete anchors into the holes. Secure the wall plate using the provided lag bolts and washers.
  4. Use the included bubble level to ensure the wall plate is perfectly horizontal before tightening all screws.

  1. With assistance, carefully lift the TV with the attached brackets.
  2. Hook the TV brackets onto the top edge of the wall plate. Ensure both brackets are securely seated.
  3. Gently lower the TV until it rests fully on the wall plate.

Step 4: Secure TV to Wall Plate

  1. Locate the locking screws at the bottom of the TV brackets.
  2. Tighten these screws to secure the TV to the wall plate, preventing accidental dislodgement.

Operating the Tilt Function

The Suptek MT3202 mount allows you to tilt your TV forward by up to 15 degrees to achieve the optimal viewing angle and reduce glare.

  1. To adjust the tilt, gently push the bottom of the TV forward or pull it back. The friction-based tilt mechanism will hold the TV in your desired position.
  2. Ensure the tilt is adjusted evenly to maintain a level viewing experience.

Maintenance

  • Regular Checks: Periodically check all screws and connections to ensure they remain tight and secure.
  • Cleaning: Clean the mount with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid using abrasive cleaners or solvents.
  • Damage: If any part of the mount appears damaged or worn, discontinue use and contact customer support for assistance.

Troubleshooting

TV is not level after installation:
Ensure the wall plate was installed level using the bubble level. If the wall plate is level, check that the TV brackets are evenly tightened on the back of the TV. Slight adjustments can sometimes be made by loosening and re-tightening the TV bracket screws.
TV feels unstable or wobbly:
Verify that all wall plate screws are securely fastened into the studs or concrete. Ensure the TV brackets are properly hooked onto the wall plate and the bottom locking screws are fully tightened.
Cannot tilt the TV or tilt is too loose/tight:
The tilt mechanism is friction-based. If it's too stiff, ensure no screws are overtightened on the TV brackets that might impede movement. If it's too loose, the tilt mechanism might need adjustment or inspection by support.
Cables are blocked by the mount:
Before installation, it is important to check for potential cable blockage (refer to Compatibility Check). If cables are blocked, you may need to use angled adapters or reposition the TV brackets if possible, or consider a different mount type.
