3. Setup
- Preparation: Ensure your vehicle's engine is running to provide stable 12V power to the compressor. Park the vehicle on a level surface and engage the parking brake.
- Connect to Power: Connect the compressor's power cable directly to your vehicle's 12V car battery terminals. Connect the red clamp to the positive (+) terminal and the black clamp to the negative (-) terminal. Ensure a secure connection.
- Attach Air Hose: Screw the coiled air hose securely onto the air outlet port of the compressor.
- Select Adapter: Choose the appropriate nozzle adapter for the item you wish to inflate (e.g., tire valve, sports ball needle).
4. Operating Instructions
- Connect to Item: Attach the chosen nozzle adapter to the item you intend to inflate. For tires, firmly screw the tire valve connector onto the tire valve stem.
- Check Pressure: The integrated pressure gauge will display the current pressure of the item. Note this reading.
- Start Inflation: Turn on the compressor using the power switch located on the unit. The compressor will begin to inflate the item.
- Monitor Pressure: Continuously monitor the pressure gauge during inflation. Inflate to the recommended pressure for your tire or item. Do not exceed the maximum recommended pressure.
- Stop Inflation: Once the desired pressure is reached, turn off the compressor.
- Disconnect: Carefully disconnect the nozzle adapter from the item and then disconnect the power clamps from the car battery.
- Cool Down: Allow the compressor to cool down after use, especially after prolonged operation.
Note: For optimal performance and to prevent overheating, avoid continuous operation for more than 10-15 minutes. Allow the unit to cool for at least 10 minutes between uses if prolonged inflation is required.
5. Maintenance
Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and optimal performance of your compressor.
- Cleaning: Wipe down the compressor with a dry or slightly damp cloth after each use. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.
- Storage: Store the compressor in its carrying bag in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
- Cable and Hose Inspection: Periodically inspect the power cable, air hose, and connectors for any signs of wear, damage, or kinks. Replace if necessary.
- Nozzle Adapters: Keep nozzle adapters clean and free of debris.
