Setup Guide
1. Download the Kasa App
Download the Kasa Smart app from your device's app store (iOS 10 or Android 5.0 or higher required).
2. Power Up the Smart Plug
Plug the Kasa Outdoor Smart Plug into an outdoor GFCI outlet. Ensure the outlet is at least 1 foot above the ground and facing downward to prevent water accumulation. The LED indicators on the plug will begin blinking orange and green, indicating it's ready for setup.
Proper installation ensures optimal performance and safety. Mount the plug vertically with receptacles facing downward, at least 1 foot above the ground. Use provided clamps to secure wires. Avoid full immersion and direct water streams.
3. Add to Kasa App
Open the Kasa app and follow the on-screen instructions to add your new Smart Outdoor Plug. Select 'Smart Plugs' > 'Smart Outdoor Plug, 2-Outlet' (EP40) from the device list. The app will guide you through connecting the plug to your home 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network.

1. Individual Outlet Control

Troubleshooting
Connectivity Issues
