3. Setup Instructions
- Unpacking: Before first use, remove all packaging, including the protective cover on the soleplate.
- Filling the Water Tank: Ensure the iron is unplugged and the steam switch is set to 'off'. Fill the 350ml water tank via the filling hole. For maximum fill, tilt the iron vertically. Do not overfill to prevent leaks. We recommend using deionized, distilled, or demineralized water.

- Connecting the Charging Base: Plug in the charging base and switch it on at the mains. The charging base power light will illuminate.
- Initial Heating: Rest the iron on its heel on the charging base, ensuring the heel connector meets the charging base connector. Connection is made when the power indicator light on the handle illuminates. Wait until the iron reaches the desired temperature.
4. Operating Instructions
- Temperature Selection: Set the temperature dial to the required temperature (refer to the fabric guide on the dial). The temperature indicator light will illuminate red until the required temperature is reached, then it will turn green. Note: It is normal for the temperature indicator light to flicker between red and green while the temperature cycles up and down during charging. Tip: Allow the temperature indicator light to cycle red and green twice before beginning ironing.
- Cordless Ironing: Throughout your ironing session, the iron must be replaced onto the charging base every few seconds or whenever you adjust your garments, to keep the heat topped up.
- Activating Steam: If steam is desired, switch on the steam using the steam switch. The amount of steam is automatically adjusted to suit the selected temperature.
- Using Water Spray: For stubborn creases, press the water spray button. If using for the first time, you may need to press it a few times to draw water through.
- Steam Boost: Press the steam boost button for an extra burst of steam, ideal for stubborn creases or heavy fabrics. Note: For optimum steam quality, do not operate the shot more than three times in succession.

6. Troubleshooting
If you encounter any issues with your OMAIGA Cordless Steam Iron, please refer to the following common solutions:
- Iron not heating: Ensure the power base is properly plugged into a working outlet and switched on. Verify the iron is correctly seated on the charging base. Check if the temperature dial is set to an appropriate heat level.
- Steam not working: Ensure the water tank is filled and the steam switch is set to the 'on' position. The iron needs to reach the selected temperature before steam can be generated.
- Water leaking from soleplate: This can occur if the temperature setting is too low for steam ironing. Increase the temperature setting. Ensure the water tank is not overfilled.
- Iron cools down too quickly: The cordless design requires the iron to be returned to the charging base periodically to maintain heat. This is normal operation.
